DANGEROUS! CAME APART & SHOT OFF HOSE ALONG WITH A BRASS TWIST NOZZLE HITTING AN ELDERLY FRAIL LADY!Luckily she will be okay. This was only the second time I used it.The entire thing minus the female retaining ring, shot off about 9ft. I should have read the reviews like I usually do. I was in a rush and I’ve had plastic hose shut off valves that were 1.00-$2.00 that lasted 4+ years- so I didn’t bother.PLEASE FOR SAFETY’S SAKE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE! Someone could end up in the EMERGENCY ROOM if an eyes or teeth were hit! Both of these inferior pieces of junk are going in the recycle bin.

Exactly as described and work great for a really cheap price. So far so good.

Worth the price

This valve exploded on me. I got this for my cooler that can attach a garden hose for draining. I filled my cooler up half way with water to make sure this wouldn't leak on a low pressure system. When it exploded under the pressure. It drenched my new $600 phone lucky I have it in a water proof case.

Broke after three months. Bought two, one broke. The fact that it broke isnt that big of a deal, the fact that I got soaked kind of is. Also, if it broke when I wasn't around to turn the hose off wouldn't have been a problem as well. Afraid to use the other without my trunks on.

I have a hose on a shower with the shower head attached to bath our dog. I needed a shut off valve and it works

Hooked it up to my hose (totally normal water pressure) it popped apart immediately. I thought maybe a fluke, and tried the second one in the pack. Exact same result.As you can see from the thin lighter line where they used to be connected, it is a very flimsy connection!These are useless.
