DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - TOTAL RIPOFF
This product is simply horrible. I took an hour to install and drill holes into my wall with a friend. After doing 10 pull-ups on the bar, the aluminum handles began to bend. Seriously, it's just a crappy product and the manufacturers are just out to make money from fools who think they're buying a legit pull-up bar -- it's also just super unsafe. DO NOT BUY THIS! Now I'm left with nothing more than 8 holes in my wall and a bunch of bent metal.

Weak and bends
Good out of the box. Used for less than a week and the main bar bent. I’m only 160lbs too. Cheap materials or construction.

Horrible product
I have been on Amazon for 10 years and I have experienced bad products before but I have never experienced something quite as awful as this. This product is a complete piece of junk. Assembly is incredibly painful, and the materials are as ridiculously cheap. Just trying to screw pieces on caused them to crumble and warp. Paint chips fell everywhere throughout the whole process. One step requires you to combine two pieces (pole ends) together, which in theory should slide without too much resistance, but this was not the case: I have pictures here that can show you the damage that was done to both ends just trying to slide them. Even with all this difficulty, I kept going. Well - once it was assembled, I placed it on the door and did 3 pull ups. I looked at the door, and as you can see in the pictures it made dents immediately on both sides of the door fram. Not just that, but the paint chips did some damage as well. Finally, there is no padding at all to protect your floors if you decide to place it on the ground for push ups or dips - it was just dig into your floor...so uncless you have carpet, good luck. My mistake for taking a chance on a newer product: stick to the better brand names with thousands of reviews. This product is a waste of time and money.

Don’t waste your money
Had to return. Pole came bent and would not fit together. Bolts and nuts are difficult to attach. Went with a different brand that was simple to build and much sturdier. Would not recommend this product. Cheaply made and poorly designed.

Easy to Use
I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. We only have one doorway we can use this in, and sometimes that door needs to be closed, so we have to put the bar up and take it down quite often, but it's very quick and simple to do. While the bar fits nicely in the frame and seems sturdy, it does put a lot of pressure on the edges of the door frame where the metal bar digs into it which leaves small indents in the wood. If this is a concern for you, I would not recommend this unless you have a way of padding the area between the bar and your frame. We are both small people (less than 125lbs), so I can't speak to the weight limit other than to say it works well for us.

Worst pull up bar. I would like to get a return
First of all, the instruction is VERY UNFRIENDLY. I made very many DIY, and this one has the worst instruction. Look at the picture. I can't even tell which screws are different from the picture because they look exactly the same. Also, unless you are very careful, you will go through a lot of screwing and unscrewing these because the instruction doesn't clearly say which should be done first.Second, one of the screw is filled like the first picture. How am I supposed to screw this?? ARE YOU SERIOUS??Last, the pull up bar is not firm enough. I don't feel safe using this pull up bar after spending 1.5 hrs trying to assemble this correctly. Also, it doesn't even fit my bathroom door because this is designed too thin. I really would like to get a refund on this item. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Comfortable handles are the only redeeming quality.
TBC this bar is so far working. But I have a lot of problems with it. First off assembly was a bit of a nightmare. The instructions are bare bones at best. There are two sets of long screws included that are basically the same length, the only real difference is one set has no slot for a screwdriver on the head. This is the set of screws that are meant to go at the very top of the assembly, but there’s no clear marking or separation of screws. This difference isn’t even clearly explained in the instructions. My second problem with the assembly is that the bars aren’t made with very good tolerances, so it requires a bit of man handling to get all the screw holes to line up properly. Third the long bar is supposed to clip together in the middle but once again it wasn’t manufactured quite right so it isn’t as securely notched in place as you’d desire. In terms of the use of the product, the pads are quite comfortable on the hands. That’s the reason I rated it a 2 star instead of a 1. The bar is starting bow slightly in the middle, and it creaks something awful when in use. Considering I’m only 210lbs and this is rated for 400lbs, that’s concerning. For the price this is probably what you should expect, but the fact is that in the future I’m gonna be a bit pickier with my exercise equipment. This hasn’t been a great experience. I really wouldn’t recommend this specific product unless someone specifically liked the price point.

Works well enough.
I only found one door frame in my house it fits, and that was without half of the tubes installed. I’m under 200 pounds and the main crossbar shows sagging after limited use—it’s not a one piece crossbar, but two pieces that nest/fit together in the middle. I’d consider that a design flaw unless one expect the crossbar to buckle some. Overall, it’s well done, but will likely only fit most doorways in newer homes, or at least not old ones like mine.
