Q: Does this use the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack?

No. It uses the CSR Harmony stack. CSR Harmony is the only stack that will support aptX.Jim

Q: Will this work with Windows 10?

It may be the answer too late. it works fine with windows 10 with its native driver but I don't know CSR Apt-X is working or not. After updated to Win 10 Apt-x pop-up is disappeared and there is no confirmation this is connected with Apt-X or not. Anyway it is working fine for 4 years with my PC.

Yes. These are listed in my Windows 10 "My Bluetooth Services" list (at the very top of the list).

Q: Is this backwards compatible with older bluetooth versions 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0? Also can you pair a keyboard and a headset at the same time?

Yes, it's compatible with all older bluetooth. Yes, you can pair keyboard, mouse and headset at the same time, no problem here.
