Cook up your favorite foods with ease in this Convection Toaster Oven. Whether it needs to be toasted, baked or broiled this covers it all. It even makes cleanup easy with a slide out tray! Review: User-friendly & spacious! - I use a toaster oven frequently & my old one needs replacing with something similar primarily for baking & convection use. What I love about this one is the spacious interior (including the height inside), that the convection fan is quiet, the knobs are easy to grip & use, & the retro-exterior goes beautifully with my Farberware percolator & my vintage Penguin hot & cold food servers (which I use as cannisters). I also appreciate that the overall size isn't too tall (so it's not overheating my cupboards overhead). Note- I did NOT test the temperatures with a thermometer as to accuracy- it's just not an issue for me. It seems to function as nicely as it looks in my kitchen, so I hope to enjoy it for years to come. I compared SO many before I decided on this one, & no regrets. This one also has a "stay-on" option as part of the timer knob- so many TOs now claim that's a safety issue & only allow for timed baking- some even say you cannot turn them off ahead of time, which to me is just ridiculous. I've never once used the timer on my old TO, & I'll probably never use this timer either, so if a TO doesn't have a "stay on" option, it doesn't live here. Review: not square, temps off by as much as 60 degrees - the outer box was not square, diagonal feet were off by .25" I used it a few times, I liked it but set for 400 for potatoes it reached 450, turned down to 350, it held about 25 degrees above and below, set back to 400, it reached 450 again the potatoes were great but, I had to stand and watch it. I didn't expect perfection, I know people who have very expensive ovens that vary, but this is too much variation for my plans to bake loaf breads and I had to stand there and watch it I don't mind watching the toast a bit, but, not for foods that cook over a half hour... I liked it otherwise, it heats up fast, seven minutes, to 450 the convection isn't loud and it must work because temp increased, as detailed in the instructions, when it was turned on the controls are easy to understand but, the rack, slides out with the cooking pan, you have to lift the pan or you get the hot rack with it, not easy with a pot holder the hinge looks really cheap, and only one... if I kept it I would have placed something high enough to keep the door from hanging all the way down to protect it worst, the timer control, "set over 10 minutes than to time" was tight to turn it you tried to reduce the time or turn it off. It felt like I was fighting something... I was turned off by HB's tepid customer service. their rely, they were out of stock but I could check back in 6 to 8 weeks... they wouldn't hold one for me and, how does that effect desertcart return? no details about being able to use or not use it in the mean time as if they lack a concept of why we buy an toaster oven I wanted a working oven to use for the holidays... I will shop other brands a pity, it had qualities that made it my first choice after a lot off reading

Excellent Toaster Oven But Beware
The toaster oven is easy to use and clean. Be aware though that it does get very hot and I have found that I have to reduce the temperature settings when using the oven. Food cooks very quickly. The unit gets hot quickly. Same goes for toasting bread. Very quick. I monitor the process - I've used it to bake potatoes for example. Wish it had a longer timing cycle but I just reset the timer in order to get my hour of cooking. So far very happy with the purchase. I am amending my initial review, which was 4 stars. I loved this toaster oven but it would stay on even when I turned it off. To remedy this I made sure that the oven was indeed OFF by turning the dial a few times. It was touch and go and I never knew when the oven would actually be off and had to replace it. I thought it was off and could hear it running and the red light was on. It became a fire hazard for me which was unfortunate because I think it is a great product. The oven was always super hot so I would use it on a lower setting. About 10 to 11 months in, after the purchase, I started having these issues.

Works great. Lots of room
Works great. Lots of room, the removable crumb tray is handy, overall a very solid product at a good price. I always thought it silly that toaster ovens boasted about the cooking rack automatically sliding forward when you open the door. I still don't think it's a big deal, but we have a toaster oven at work that doesn't do that, and it is slightly annoying. I don't use mine for toast much, but I will echo what several others have said about the toast setting. The light toast setting and the dark toast setting are about a millimeter apart, and the dial isn't that precise, so if you plan to do a lot of toast, this might not be the best for you. That said, it seems the majority of toaster ovens have the same deficiency. And it does fine cooking toast, you just can't count on the accuracy of the timer.

... for about 2 weeks now and have been totally happy with its performance
I've had this delightful little oven for about 2 weeks now and have been totally happy with its performance. I've baked pizza, bread, cinnamon rolls, potatoes (sweet and white), pork chops and homemade chicken pot pie in it with stellar results every time! I live off grid, so the oven is powered by my generator. No problems with them being completely compatible either. In other words, I consider this oven to be a good addition to anyone's lifestyle. Great for the college student who has cooking privileges in room, the rv'ing community looking to not have to fire up the propane oven unless they want to, as well as anyone who has limited kitchen space (my cabin is 16' x 12' currently, will be expanding next year) or has no electricity unless they have a generator capable of powering a 1400 watt oven. Have a loaf of beer bread in there right now, can't wait to see how it turns out!
