12V30A 360W DC Converter

I bought this to run a 12 volt diesel heater and and so far it's worked great. You can adjust the voltage output, I've got it at 13.9. Probably only drawing 120-130 watts so not close to the rating but for my application Ive had no problems.

Perfect for my LEDs. There was one bent corner when it arrived but easy to push back. I was worried about the warmth it would put off running all the time but it is powering our lights perfectly

So far both power supplies I purchased are good. One of them came with the side of bent as pictured in other reviews but so far it works fine and no need for replacement.

Very good quality. Clean 12v power. I have only run it at 15 Amp output to date. Output can be adjusted slightly with a trim pot on the unit. No power switch

I ordered the 12V 30A unit. It arrived packaged in a padded, kraft paper envelope and the product box had a crushed-in corner which translated into a slightly bent metal frame on the power supply itself. I tested the unit and it did not work--the power indicator did not light and there was no output on 12V output terminals. I returned that unit and ordered an exact replacement item. The replacement item arrived in a padded, plastic bag. There was no apparent damage to the product box. I tested the new unit and it did not work--the power indicator did not light and there was no output on 12V output terminals. I returned that unit for a refund and ordered a different Mean Well brand unit (not yet received at the time I'm writing this) which I hope will work when I receive it

I used this to convert a 12V fan off a race car to a exhaust fan booster to my shop. Runs it for hours with no discernible heat build up. And yes the fan is a bit noisy but, when I need the extra circulation it works great.

After the first unit burned out, I tried my luck again buying another one because of all the great reviews. No luck, this one lasted a couple of days, then quietly quit without the puff of smoke of the first one.
