The Treedix XR2206 Signal Generator for under $10 is a great value and actually works. All electronic and hardware parts were included. Perhaps the most difficult part about assembly is removing the protective film from the case parts. A couple of tips may help. First, the circuit board is attached to the case bottom with four short screws and nuts. For enough of the screws to protrude so the nuts can be attached, all of the component leads have to be shortened to nearly flush with the back of the board. Second, the holes for the longer screws that hold the case together are actually laser cut through the plastic in a star shape in the case bottom. You will need to carefully push out the center of the cut out. It is a good idea to support the case bottom when doing this. When the case is assembled, the longer machine screws will actually thread themselves into the plastic star shaped hole. Be very careful not to over tighten or you will strip out these tiny threads. The video on assembly is helpful.

The material of the jumpers is so soft I did t even get to use it one time. I tried everything but they’re to thin to work with. Also can’t read the faded instructions! I smashed it with a hammer and threw it in the garbage! I know it was cheap but c’mon!!!

Kit is missing multiple parts.I've already soldered a couple parts and don't want to go to the hassle of a return.Just a bit of a let down.
