Zigbee 3.0 LED-Dimmer-Switch 5-250 W, trailing edge dimmer and remote control for dimmable LED and halogen lamps, compatible with Alexa and Philips Hue, 3 Year guarantee

These are a great little dimmer that enable the user to turn switches on, of or dim compatible lamps just by using their voice. It is a XigBee device and I found it quite easy to fit and set up with Alexa though I had wanted to fit an override switch for urgent use but I couldn't find an appropriate push switch that didn't break the bank. The dimmer can be installed with or without the use of a neutral wire. If used in an existing lighting circuit then there will probably not be a neutral in the switch box which is why this dimmer is particularly useful. Most other devices like this need the neutral wire and therefore changes to existing wiring. Without the override switch (which can be part of a two way circuit) installation is simply a matter of line-in (live) to the devices middle terminal, switch wire (output) to lamp and a bridge between the switch wire and Cx terminal. Despite the relative ease of installation, some people may be best to get an electrician to fit the device for the dimmer. Overall, despite being quite pricey, I'm happy with the dimmer. It does its job adequately and without fuss and having voice control of my home lighting is great (I wonder if I will still say this when the novelty factor wears off). Shame about the override switch though. As an afterthought, whilst (spring loaded) push switches can be used with this device, it isn't suitable for use in two way switch circuits (all switches need to be spring loaded push switches) and needs a constant (unswitched) link to line-in.

Using this for controlling led downlights vi's my zigbee raspberry pi hub. Works a treat and was easy to set up. It is installed above the ceiling next to a downlight. Dims right down to 1% will be buying some more soon.

Was easy to install and is working great so far. Used it for kitchen under kabinet lights lamps , dimming works without issues. Connection to hue hub was easy.

Works seamlessly with hue to control an older set of lights, silent operation and dims well ,ideally a deeper box is helpful

I'm a bit of a home automation junkie and I've been looking for a solution for my lights that doesn't involve replacing every bulb with a smart one. It's more difficult in the UK as most switches only have a live. This is a great box of tricks. The first thing to note is that you need a decent amount of space behind your switch. Thankfully a cavity is behind the switch so it pops in without issue. I've no neutral in my house but this has a wiring diagram for both with an without. The wiring only took a few minutes. I'd have done it quicker if I had realised that I needed to put it into pairing mode before putting the switch back in the wall! I paired successfully with Home Assistant first time without any issues and was able to control the lights - Result! Failure to read the instructions meant that I didn't realise I needed the switch to be a push button so a fiver later after a B&q trip I was sorted. The operation at the switch is one press for on/off and hold to control dimming. It remembers the dimming level too.

Great way to add your existing dimmable LED lights to your Hue system. This can be fitted in place of your existing wall dimmer switch under a blanking plate. No neutral required. Shows up as a bulb in the Hue app. Ideal if you have light fittings with dimmable LED bulbs, much cheaper than replacing with Hue bulbs.

It was very difficult to get LED bulbs to work with the dimmer, anyway after 4 failed attempts with unbranded LED bulbs I found the Philips LED bulbs, although expensive they worked perfectly. The dimmer was easy to install with a bit of diy know how, it also works great when linked with Alexa.

Der Zigbee Dimmerschalter von hat mein Zuhause in ein intelligentes Beleuchtungserlebnis verwandelt. Als Neuling in Sachen Smart Home war ich auf der Suche nach einer einfachen Möglichkeit, meine Beleuchtung zu steuern und anzupassen, ohne dabei aufwändige Installationen vornehmen zu müssen. Dieser Dimmerschalter bietet genau das und noch viel mehr. Die Einrichtung war denkbar einfach. Dank der Zigbee-Technologie konnte ich den Dimmerschalter problemlos in mein bestehendes Smart-Home-System integrieren. Die Verbindung mit der entsprechenden App war schnell hergestellt, und schon konnte ich meine Beleuchtung von meinem Smartphone oder Tablet aus steuern. Die Dimmfunktion ist äußerst praktisch. Ich wollte eigentlich mein HomeKit weiter ausbauen für das Ankleidezimmer und habe gedacht mit dem Philips Hue geht das schon. Leider war dem nicht so. Habe mir dazu noch die Philips Hue Fernbedienung gekauft und war überzeugt damit bekomme ich die auch irgendwie angeschlossen. Nein, das habe ich nicht aber wohl nur weil ich es auch nicht so lange versucht habe und gleich auf eine andere Lösung kam. Das verbauen ging ganz einfach und es funktionierte sofort und dann kam das Verknüpfen mit Philips Hue oder irgendwie mit dem Handy, leider ist die Anleitung auch nicht so gut beschrieben und ich wusste nun nicht wie oft ich an den Knopf drücken muss für die Verknüpfung mit Philips Hue. Das hat schon lange gedauert und habe alles versucht bis es auf einmal einfach geklappt hat und das Licht an ging. Die Fernbedienung nun zum Zimmer hinzugefügt und es war zumindest über die Philips Hie App oder der Fernbedienung steuerbar. Siri wollte einfach nicht und hat einfach nichts gemacht aber da es nur das Ankleidezimmer ist und ich es eigentlich nicht immer an und aus machen möchte, habe ich mir einfach noch win Bewegungsmelder geholt und nun funktioniert es sogar noch besser als ich es am Anfang vor hatte. Um ja, ein Stern Abzug gibt es wegen der nicht verständlichen Beschreibung der Kopplung. Ansonsten top!!

Fonctionnement ok pendant les premières semaines, mais ne fonctionne désormais plus. L'ampoule ne s’éteint plus totalement en mode "off", il reste une faible lueur résiduelle, mais bien visible. J'ai essayé avec une autre ampoule, c'est pareil. Vu que cet article est plus cher que la concurrence, je voulais de la qualité. Il semblerait que je sois bon pour redémonter tout l'interrupteur..
