I bought this for my cousin's daughter's 5th birthday party. I knew she was going to get mostly dolls, dresses and costumes, so I wanted to mix things up a bit with this. It seemed like a good age-appropriate Science Tech toy, that would be fun and out of the ordinary. Bonus for these is that they don't hurt as much when stepped on, my cousin appreciated that, unlike Legos or a pulled apart electronic device.Truthfully, she initially wasn't very excited about it (she had more applause and familiarity with dolls and dresses, after all), but after visiting a couple months later she seems to be continuously playing with it. Her older brother, who is first grade (and loves action figures/dolls and costumes), also playing with her, and enjoying themselves.I was so happy to see this!!The shape pieces are big, so I don't worry about a toddler accidentally swallowing the larger bits, They both love making things, and then smashing them! This toy was a total winner!!I actually showed them how to put it together the first day. The storage bag they came with fits the pieces perfectly, The pictured instruction booklet was nice, colorful , and a helpful additionThe adults at the party had fun playing with the designs, and actually seemed more interested in the toy than the kids at first .. This is also a good bonding toy for multiple kids, teaching to work together as a team.The magnetic holds are not super strong.If you do things like build the airplane or the car from the book, one has to carfully pick it up. It is easy to loose magnetic conection and accidently smash your new construction.They didn't get that it was ok to smash it at first, and were a bit upset when they saw how long it took to build something, only to see it come undone easily. (Maybe a good life lesson in there!) Like I said earlier, they've thankfully actually grown fond of building and smashing! Their interest wasn't 100% the first day,So, all in all, this toy seems wonderful in developing dexterity, as well as talking about shapes, colors, counting, artful building designs, etc. very happy with this purchaseAmazing Value!

I got this for my daughter for her 3rd birthday with the hopes she and her older sister could share it. They both love it and fight over it for hours. It seems durable enough and the magnets are strong enough to build towers and what not. However, nearly half of the pieces included in the "88" count advertised click into other pieces and can't be used individually to build. So after the walls, windows and terraces are put inside of the square pieces, there are only 40 pieces or so. Maybe this is enough for one child but not two. I am considering buying another set, but I'm feeling a little ripped off if I have to spend over $50 when I could have gotten a higher end, bigger set for a comparable price.

As this Covid pandemic has everyone staying in homes, and with schools closed for the summer, I've been trying to find activities to do with my children that is both entertaining and educational. I remember when I was younger , there used to be a toy called kinetics and when I saw these magnetic toys, it totally brought me back to a nostalgia feeling of when I used to enjoy playing with them. My kids are ages 3 and 4 and they have been playing with these magnetic every day. They love em and I love em. I know these are suppose to be for kids but I'm not going to lie, my wife and I have been also playing with these making little contests with our children who can build the best castle. It's fun, endless ideas of what you can build and it's a great way to have family time fun while learning because our kids are learning about shapes, building and being a lover of science, I am teaching them magnetic energy and how the toys attach to each other. These toys are very sturdy too, made of a durable non toxic material that is safe for my children. I love the colors too, very kid friendly. I like that this came with a carrying tote for taking the toys with us on long car rides or when visiting their grandparents. They really enjoy playing with these magnetic blocks and parents will too. With all these shapes and pieces, you can make a huge Ferris wheel to a big castle to even a little town. I'm telling ya, the possibilities are endless. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very well packaged. Quality of each piece is so good. Different shapes including a wheel, Windows, balconies, doors, squares, half circles and big triangles. Comes with a storage bag and a book for instructions/shapes to work on. Kids absolutely love it and spent hours using their imagination to build different things. Magnets stick so well and colors are so cute and vibrant. Very happy with the product.

Bought these for a two year old! She loves them. So fun and entertaining for little people, old folks too. Definitely worth a purchase.

I am lately a big fan of magnetic toys for kids. This one comes with a lot of pieces of different shapes and sizes and also with other accessories with which the kids can make houses and cars etc. It comes neatly packed in a box that helps a lot during the clean up time.
