Etude House Tint My Brows Gel Eyebrow Long Lasting Liner, Brown, 0.5 Fluid Ounce

I was really excited to try this product. I have very thin, blond eyebrows (for someone with dark brown hair, this sucks!). I am always on the lookout for brow products that last. I'm at the point of considering brow blading or possibly brow tattoos. I would love to avoid either as they're costly and either semi or totally permanent. I ordered this with the hopes I could do my brows maybe once a week. It's also important that I find a product that doesn't wipe off or disappear when I sweat or go swimming. So far, this product is halfway there. I ordered the dark brown color and applied for nearly 3 hours. I've posted a photo of the results after 24 hours. I will post another after 4 and 7 days. I work out every other day and have a beach day planned for 3 days from now. Fingers crossed that this will last. So far, it's been pretty good. The only aspect I'm not crazy about is that it isn't exactly dark brown. The gel is very dark, but once it's peeled off, the effect is much lighter and a tiny bit reddish. I'm considering applying again tonight and leaving it on overnight to achieve a darker brow. That's the only thing that's keeping me from giving it a 5 star review. I'll update if that makes much of a difference.

What this isn't: A solution for sparse, blonde brows like mine. What this might be: A decent fill-in for people who already have fuller/darker brows. I have used this three or four times and it seems to work best for me when left on overnight. It does not color the eyebrow hairs, just the skin beneath them. Because my eyebrows are so and light that you can't see them at all without makeup, this means I still have to use brow pencil in the mornings because otherwise it is painfully obvious that the skin under my brows has been tinted. The upside is that this product gives me a nice template for filling my eyebrows in and does save me a bit of time in the morning.The brown version is very warm toned, almost a burnt orange/sepia shade, which does not look natural on me because I am pale and cool toned. If I had darker eyebrows this might be less noticeable. Another complaint I have is the wear time. Every time I've used this it fades dramatically the first time I wash my face, even if I've left it on for 8+ hours and avoided my brow area with my cleanser. When I leave it on for the minimum of 2 hours it completely rinses off the first time I get my face wet.

This is a pretty good product. If done right, it stays on for 3 days.

Okay let's just start this off with it took 3 weeks to get here. This is magic! It smells so good and it's so easy to use if you know what you're doing. My advice is you take one of your eyebrow angled brushes and use that instead of the brush it comes with. Just apply it how you would your normal eyebrow makeup. Make sure your face is 100% clean with no dry skin no oil no makeup or any other products on it or else it's not going to work nor stay on and last. Mine started to pile off before the two hours was up so I just took them off. Very easy and they DID NOT rip out my eyebrow hairs. You have to start at the ends "tips" of your eyebrows and slowly pile it to the center. It's recommend for dying your actual hairs on your eyebrows and is not for the skin and where your lack eyebrows. And it also says don't use any product or makeup on them for up to 24 hours after pilling them off. Make sure you get the color right too. I used the dark brown and my natural eyebrow color is dark blonde or very light brown. I wish this was a bit darker but it still works. I've attached the actual directions from their actual website so people can read it and go from there.

This product is exactly what I was hoping for. However, it was darker than I had originally thought it would be, I would say my eyebrows are more of a black and this tint works perfect with my very dark brown/black hair. I also don't really like the idea of letting it sit for hours. My first concern was it burning my eyebrows but I have used in many times and still have all of my eyebrow. Also the concern of touching it on something and it coming off, and depending on how much you put on and how soon you touch something with it on the more likely you are to leave a trail. I gave this product four stars because getting the residue off of your eyebrows is a skill and I have been with a group of people when someone asks me about the "gunk" on my eyebrows because I missed peeling off a section. But if done correctly and all of the section have been peeled off it looks really great and depending how you use it it can look exaggerated or more casual.

I decided to try this after seeing it featured on a BuzzFeed Beauty tips article and it actually worked fairly easily. When you first put it on it's a tar-like consistency and looks really dark, but the good news is that after you let it dry and then peel it off, your eyebrows are not super dark, but they are darker than I had expected, but that's probably because I didn't select the right color for my brows. I'm going to try another color to see if it's more to my true color. I did like that it lasted a few days and I didn't have to do anything to my brows, no pencil or filling in was needed and it gave them a nice color after the first day. It's a temporary henna dye, so it will fade and get more reddish in tone as it fades away. This was my first time in using a product like this and it was fairly idiot-proof, I was able to simply wipe any excess away with a Q-Tip and water before it dried.

La idea es buena, pero no me acaba de convencer porque me queda verdoso. Probablemente pruebe otro tono,(grey brown) a ver qué tal.
