Purchased these as a double-up to prevent the large milk carton from pushing the fridge door open in transit. These are a little tricky to put into place as you have to sort of hold the bottom screw while adjusting it to the size of the object you want to secure-smaller fingers are definitely an advantage with installing this item!On the plus size, these braces work very well, especially in combination with the fridge bars....over hill and over dale, everything stayed put!

I’ve only had these for a couple of months, so as to the sturdiness - we have been out on the road several times and what a change! Before, when ever you opened the frig, you never knew what would jump out at you! These keep everything in place and are a real help. I also added the “ Camco 28" Double RV Refrigerator Bar, Holds Food and Drinks in Place During Travel, Prevents Messy Spills”. This keeps the top shelf from going everywhere. I am glad I bought both.

These are designed to fit into a wire rack in your RV refrigerator and they worked very well for our Dometic. The fastener is quite shallow, but you do need to have a wire rack shelf to install them. They are easily adjustable with a wing nut on the top of each brace and the bottom portion of the fastener has rib slots in various widths so you should be able to find a solid fit on any wire rack shelf with no problem. The brace itself seems very sturdy and I can't imagine even a full gallon of milk or water being able to damage them, even over a rough road, although I suppose with age and rough use it could happen. Under 'normal' use I can't see this ever being a problem.

I have very 'hair-trigger' refrigerator doors in our RV. In fact, I generally brace something against them when traveling because I've had to clean up several times when things have fallen out. These little things do, in fact, prevent items from sliding forward and bumping the door open which is exactly what I needed them to do. Great little invention and I'm glad I found them. ( A lot cheaper than getting a new refrigerator.)
