Hormann HSM2 868 / Hormann HSM4 868 compatible CLONE remote control transmitter, 868.3Mhz fixed code clone!!! (NOT COMPATIBLE with BS BiSecur remotes)

I ordered this replacement through AG-Automatic Ltd. Setting up was very easy and straight forward; it works very well. A very nice feature that it has is a sliding guard which, when applied, ensures that there are no unintended door openings. It appears to be very well made and has a type of carabiner clip attached to enable it to be attached to a key ring for example. I am that satisfied with the product that I have ordered another two. A like for like replacement for my old remote would have been circa £45. This replacement cost circa £10.

I have yet to pair the device and try it out so I cant say how well it functions until I do. Reading the instruction on how to do this looks as is its a bit fiddly, and may need several goes to get it right. The quality of the fob is very good and the fact it can attach to my key ring is a big bonus.

I tried this remote cloner for about half an hour with several compatible remotes. Nothing worked at all.

I wrote my original review several months ago. (Below) I wanted a "spare", so I found an 868 MHz, Hormann replacement cheaper, from China. Looked like an identical product. It wasn't, and I suspect the 868 claim was false (beware if you own Hormann garage doors!). After the usual reluctance to refund by Chinese companies, I got my money back. Undeterred, I found another (you guessed it - Chinese) supplier and the product swam it's way from China (6 weeks!) and failed to work. Another argument and another refund - eventually! So I ordered my first (more expensive, but UK sourced) product again. And you know what? It worked first time. There's a message there somewhere!Original Review: My Hormann remote control only cost £40 to replace, and the model is obsolete, so setting up a replacement is a nightmare. Thanks Hormann! A friend suggested OEM and I bought this at a quarter of the price. And you know what, it works!OK the instructions are in Chinglish - no surprises there! Once deciphered, and with a degree of literal interpretation, the process was OK. You tube video helped. And then, it just works.... end of story. I think I will buy another one!

I programmed the remote to the original remote and now I have a working spare i intend to buy another one again.

Good build quality and easy to programme in accordance with the instructions provided. Recommended.

Lights flashed during programming as instructions. Unit didn't operate the garage doors. Seller repeated instructions, make no difference.
