Beautiful helmet. Typical HJC. There is a reason they are the most popular helmet company.
The fashion-conscious lady of the house will want to ride more when she can wear a nice looking helmet like this one. The Cardo communicator fit right in. Do get one size bigger than your measurement though. Wifey measured right in the middle of the range for small, and it wouldn't even go over her head. The medium is still a little snug, but it definitely will be just right after a few rides. The CS-R3 Naviya is a typical budget lid from HJC (i.e. much better than most in its price range). It is nice and lightweight in the hand and on the head. It has a great, sturdy visor with a good, positive "clicking" movement so it stays where you put it, even when left slightly open for a bit of max airflow while travelling down the tarmac at a decent clip. it also seals off well when closed, and it is easily removed without tools for cleaning. The head and chin vents are adequate, especially for the price point, and they are easy to operate with gloves. The finish is easily as good as you will find on a budget lid. And you can rest assured that HJC - the largest and one of the most trusted motorcycle helmet manufacturers on Earth, with state-of-the-art research, development, and manufacturing facilities - did do all the necessary testing to meet the claimed safety requirements. You can't be as certain of this with a budget helmet from just any old manufacturer. Also, you can usually rest assured that HJC will have spare parts readily available for a long time, along with things like tinted shields etc..Thanks, HJC. I've been riding for 50 years, and I have come to know I can trust you guys completely to always give me my money's worth and keep me safe.
