Blackberry Curve 8330, 8350, 8350i Replacement LCD Lens Screen Repair Glass

Recieved this much quicker than anticipated...however, no instructions came. A butter knife can be used to pry up the old lens (be careful, it can crack and splinter easily). Take your time installing the adhesive. Make note that the adhesive has pre-cut areas that need to be removed (a mini screwdriver works good to punch these areas out). Also, be careful which side you put down because this "two-sided tape" can be installed incorrectly.

I was a little skeptical when I purchased this item mostly because of the removing the screen process. However, it worked real well. The tools provided were just right for the job and the double-stick tape that was provided worked well.The clearness of the new screen was very refreshing. I can see things so much better and it rejuvenated my Blackberry. I plan to keep it for a while now.

Screen doesn't fit the same as the old one. Thicker and keeps popping up and sticks out, not flush with phone

The lens came in three days after I ordered it, and I have to admit the final result was excellant, and the customer was happy with the end result, the only problem was the adhesive tape that was shipped with the lens. It stuck to everything but the phone, I knew on the first day when the customer requested her phone back that the adhesive was going to fail , the next day I was able to get the phone back and use an epoxy to fix the lens and the call was complete, but the tape was not effective.

Although it was super inexpensive, the product did not come set as I expected. The adhesive that came with it worked great, however, I did need to manually cut the adhesive near the bottom so it would actually fit for the phone. In addition, make sure you cut the screen out of the outlined adhesive BEFORE you peel the back paper off (my first time repairing a Blackberry lens).The lens size was unsettling at first. The product description claims it is for the 8330, 8350, or Nextel 8350i. When I went to install the Blackberry lens on the Nextel 8350i, the lens BARELY fit in. At first I believed that the lens would not fit at all, and I would have to cut the lens just as I cut the adhesive on the bottom two prongs sticking out. But with some muscle and some consistency, it fit in, but seemed to protrude out of the housing just a bit.Overall, it works, but I had a few scares while installing it. The LED works as does the speaker, my customer was happy, and I was able to complete my job, but the product is not perfect for the 8350i.

I got this for my Blackberry 8330 to replace the screen that was scratched all to hell. The tricky part for me was figuring out that the adhesive is two sided. Once I figured that out it was easy. My phone feels brand new now. Quick shipping. I am pleased.

Good replacement screen for my work phone screen that cracked. Easy to install. Just had to cut the two sided tape back a little to clear the screen.
