Q: What's the payload please?

Think the box says about 400g. It's not going to take a large DSLR or similar, we're using it with a small vlogging camera.

Q: Can this be attached to a tripod so that the unit sits on top of the tripod?

Yes, there's a standard camera mount thread on teh underside

Q: Is this weatherproof and what is the car roof mount pictured please?

I have found the device to be weather resistant rather than weatherproof. Mine is sitting outside photographing Hedgehog on a border in the garden and has been for over a year.

Q: It says the tilt angle is 60. Is that 60 degrees up and 60 degrees down which would be 120 total. or is it 30 up and 30 down which would total 60?

Tilt angle is 60 degrees in total. There is a lot of slop in the mechanism and so you can only use it for positioning, not for tilt movie action. Barry
