quality product but does not map well in retropie
this is a nice controller however it does not map well in retropie. this faces the known issue of reversing the a and b keys and sometimes dropping the config altogether. i will use this on my pc, but this is not the one to buy for retropie unless you have strong linux skills to modify the config files. i did that and it still did not work properly. i bought a diff brand and that works much better for retropie. all in all this is a good controller if you a re on a pc or non retropie system. the shortcomings are likely not related to the product itself.

Cheap Knock-offs
I was expecting the same quality as my original N64 controllers but with USB connectors, instead of the N64. However, these are the cheapest N64 substitutes I've ever had in my hands. Just moving the stick around, you can feel how loose/inconsistent these are. Anyone who's checking the mapping to see dead-zones etc on these would have the same review - these are garbage. I tried to ignore the stats and just play, but again the buttons are so inconsistent that it was impossible to play at any sort of level to progress games.

You get what you pay for
Look you are buying a controller for what $10 a controller, they are decent for that price but they are still $10 controllers. Things I noticed in particular was in mariokart if both controllers are plugged in on p64 you cannot press two buttons at the same time, so you would have to let off gas in order to use an item.Pros: good feeling for the price, I actually like them a bit better than original for button feel and haven't noticed the analog issues others are stating.Cons: Pressing multiple buttons at once may be an issue and expansion capability. Overall decent if you want something for casual 64 play

Exactly what I wanted!
I'm pretty skeptical when I buy generic Nintendo gear. Nintendo brand is expensive, but they are reliable and rugged. I've had many disappointments when buying third-party products that are compatible with Nintendo. Even for subtle differences.I was not disappointed with this purchase one bit! These controllers work perfect with my emulators, and it feels exactly like the classic Nintendo 64 controllers (they are a smidgen lighter in weight, but that is because they don't contain the exact same hardware within the controller as the originals do. There is a faux-slot for a memory pak/rumble pak, but there are no connectors to those items within the hardware.)I was mostly concerned with how the joystick would feel, and it is without flaw! The buttons themselves are a bit more "clicky" than the original controller buttons, but it doesn't affect performance during gameplay. These controllers are well worth the money. I know there are some bad reviews on them. Don't worry. You can buy confidently!

It's an N64 Knock-off
These controllers are exactly as advertised. Cheap N64 USB controllers that work well for reliving some childhood games on an emulator. Quality of buttons and shell is surprising for the price. They're not an $80 modern Dualshock or Xbox controller, but they are responsive and don't feel like they will fall apart in your hands. Takes some thinking to get the buttons mapped correctly, but there are plenty of tutorials out there. I only wish someone made a 10 ft cable - these are too short.

Solid USB Controller
These controllers work fairly well on the computer, they are recognized by retro arch and mapped appropriately. The only feature this is missing is the rumble pack. It does not appear it has this functionality but it may also not work through USB.

Proceed with caution.
Deeply disappointed in these controllers. My retropie either doesn't recognize them or when it does (once this far) it recognizes it as a PlayStation style controller. I'd say proceed with caution as I saw some reviews that said they had no problem with them, yet I'll be honest I'm having nothing but problems. I have that I'm out $20 but sometimes that's the risk you take buying 3rd party stuff.

First unit came half broke, but replacement was fast
These are exactly what they look like: cheapo knock off N64 controllers. If you're just looking to relive old memories through an emulator these are perfect, but dont rely on them in a competition.First pair I got, one of them had USB connectivity issues but they replaced it real quick. Would rate 5/5 for the price if not for this one issue. I'm not entirely confident they would survive being dropped. But hey, they're $12 a pop.NO EXPANSION SLOTS. WILL NOT SUPPORT RUMBLE OR MEMORY PAKS.

Deeply Disappointed
Initially I thought these controllers would be a way to remember my N64 days! Unfortunately, one of the controllers did not work at all for no apparent reason.
