Review: I had a love hate relationship but was good read - So this book is about Fina's lil baby sister Sofia and her ex fiancรฉ Danilo. So when Fina gets kidnapped, falls pregnant and marries Remo (reference to Camera Chronicles) Fia is suggested as an consolation to Danilo to salvage their reputation I would suggest you to read so that I don't give away any spoilers... Almost a decade later our girl Fia is of marriageable age and does a lots of things to get his attention while keeps ignoring her when finally he realises and grovels and tries to make it up she starts to ignore and not care.... which I find is a very human thing.... but is it too late for Danilo? One thing I was irritated was how much the plot was based on Fina and her kidnapping I was the story did not heavily depend on Fina rather them but it was okay... Talks about abandonment issues and how it impacts his and how they tend to grow up quickly to hold pieces together personally it hit a bit too close to home for me and made me emotional... I mean very emotional... Over all I loved it would 500% recommend. Review: Another great read in the series - This wasn't my favourite of Cora's books from this timeline as I feel I didn't connect with Sofia and Danilo as much - but I still did love and enjoy this story all the way through. I loved being able to see Fina and Remo again, that was my favourite part - being able to see a glimpse of Fina again. I also loved Anna's interactions in this book I didn't think she was going to be that prominent, but I'm so glad she was! She's an amazing character and I'm so excited to read her book - hoping it to be with Santino! I love how both Sofia and Danilo overcame their greatest weakness together, the second half of the book definitely took off somewhere. I'm really excited for the rest of the series, especially the final instalment in the Camorra series and the beginning of Sins of Our Fathers!

Probably not for me
What can I say? I think personally I've discovered an age gap "romance" is not for me. It comes off as seedy and predatory, an eleven year old crushing on a 21 year old, a 16/17yr old being treated like a sex toy, albeit unknowingly. I remember being that age, even with a few sips of beer there was no way I would have readily agreed to some guy whispering words that vulgar in my ear. Ok yeah they get their happily ever after but it's based mostly on insecurity, anger and pride. Would it kill a man to just say "sorry"? Whilst I technically enjoyed the story, and the ever so slow journey towards them being "in love", I don't think I'll be reading another like this. An arranged marriage of a child to an adult (yes I know they wait but still gross), a messed up 'first time', a family dividing feud and an eventual happy ending left me feeling dirty, confused and content all at the same time. Definitely not for me.

Fragile longing
I wanted a mafia arranged marriage, and Cora delivered. I absolutely adore how Cora writes and canโt wait for Emmaโs book to be released next month. We follow Sofia from childhood where she learns of her arranged marriage to Danilo, sheโs had a crush on him forever, and was disappointed when her sister was set to marry him, but that changed by Remo kidnapped her on her wedding day, and now Saf can longer marry Danilo. To keep the family ties Sofia will marry Danilo when she turns 18 years old. As Sofia ages she becomes more and more familiar with how she should present herself. She changes how she looks, and tries to please everyone, which kinda back fires on her. Will Sofia be second best to her sister forever? Or will Danilo be happy with Sofia as she is? Brilliantly written, loved the pacing of this story and would definitely recommend. Itโs a standalone and is told in dual POV.

Her sister's stead
FRAGILE LONGING (Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles) Cora Reilly POV:Dual Danilo & Sofia We've met Danilo and Sofia in TWISTED PRIDE (The Camorra Chronicles #3). But can be read as a standalone. Sofia has always had a school girl crush on Danilo, ever since her sister Serafina, niece of the Outfits Capo, her Father an Underboss of Minneapolis was promised to him years before, to bring the families together. Then her sister was taken by their enemy on their wedding day. And wasn't the same since. So, she ran to be with him. Now that Serafina's with the enemy. Sofia is now to marry Danilo in her sister's place. The only acceptable option. Danilo, youngest Underboss of Indianapolis in the Outfit was armoured by Serafina, she was everything, an ice princess. But now, Sofia, is Serafina's replacement, consultation prize. Walking in her sister's shadow. Not being enough, second best, opposite of Serafina. To say that Danilo is not impressed is an understatement considering that there's a10yr age gap, and a further six year wait until Sofia is of age. But he's determined to get what he was promised, a strong union. Now adding revenge on the Camorra, they're responsible for taking Serafina, humiliating him, the Outfit, and tarnishing their pride. Sofia rebels, like the teenager she is, to get reactions out of Danilo. She wants his attention like the way her sister had his attention. As she gets older, Sofia knows that men in their world aren't Disney Princes. They may look the part, but they're not. Doesn't mean she can't pretend. She tries so much to be like Serafina, she lost herself along the way. Getting control of herself, she sets herself boundaries and gets over her childish crush on him. Danilo, who's changed, being more distant, angry. Whist doing the gentlemanly distancing from Sofia. Will he lose Sofia? Will Sofia stick up for herself? Stop trying to please her parents and everyone else? Will they get along and try to get to know one another? Felt so much for Sofia, she has so much pressure on such young shoulders. The hurdles that these two had to go through, especially Sofia. Such a great read.

Nice surprise
I have been reluctant to start this book I had mixed feelings about it. I have put it down after a couple of chapter before, but now I really enjoyed to read it. And at the end I loved it. This book isn' t going to be my favourite (still Camorra fan) but it is an excellently wrote story I have liked the way how the emotions were in the frontline. Sometimes I got little annoyed by Sofia and the way how she saw herself, but also I liked how the character grow up emotionally during the book.

El orgullo es el peor pecado
Este libro tiene como protagonistas a Danilo y Sofรญa ( el ex-prometido de Fina y su hermana pequeรฑa). Si ya habรฉis leรญdo โtwisted prideโ sabrรฉis que Fina fur secuestrada el dรญa de su boda y luego abandonรณ el Outfit para huir junto a Remo.

An Outfit story to remember ๐ค
Loved it! I'm glad I picked this one from Cora Reilly. Much better than Aria and Luca's story. We can see Sofia growing up and become a woman through the book. I would love to read more about the Outfit, and a continuation of their story. Like Growl story, I feel like there are things missing. Really love this one.

Fragile
No so much fragile in the end. Beautiful story like alla the mafia romance of Cora. Danilo and Sofia are a loving couple

Worth the wait.
Being one of the person who have waited enough for this book, this was an absolute delight to read. Sofia, the female lead was briefly introduced in Twisted Pride and she was a child in that book. The storyline of Sofia being promised to Danilo was revealed in that book itself and it made the wait worthwhile. The few parts where Sofia was looking forward to being a bride all came true in this book. Also, we got to know Danilo. He was portrayed as a person who lost his control when Serafine was kidnapped. He was hurt and his character was flawed in Twisted Pride. All that was made clear in this book and was an absolutely beautifully written book.
