Box of 5 (Five) - Middle Mounting Bracket for 1-5/16" Round Closet Rod - Oil Rubbed Bronze

These brackets are just what I needed. Have an angled roofline in the closet and these brackets worked perfectly. Simple design and nicely finished. The only downside is that the screws provided were way too small. I used 2-1/2” screws to mount into the roof joists as this is an 8’ closet pole and I spaced the brackets every 16” (the photo is a bit deceiving, they are spaced 16” apart). The other challenge is the round part of the bracket (where the closet pole goes through) makes it awkward to use a screwdriver (powered or manual) as the mounting screw holes are right in line with the round closet pole part of the bracket. In the next design revision I would suggest widening the mounting base so the screw mounting holes are clear of the round closet pole section of the bracket.I would recommend these brackets and buy again.

I would buy these again! I have a sloped ceiling in one of my closets. I bought the rod & end pieces at Lowe’s & used the brackets to add extra support. I didn’t use the screws they came with because they were to short. I used 3 brackets for my closet. The extra two I used to mount a curtain rod on the ceiling to cover my skylight. Worked well for that as well!

Work perfect in a new closet installation to hold the steel hanger rod. Very stout and easy to install.
