Editing: There are questions at the end of each chapter. "See appendix C for answers and rationales for all activities." Appendix C has formulas for calculating dosages. I really could use the answers for studying. Also there is an obvious lack of thorough proofreading of this text.Cost: At the college bookstore, this book was 122 dollars. Here on Amazon I got it for ~95. That's a lot of money to pay for something that is unfinished. Come on Pearson.Content: hard to say since I'm not a pharmacology expert. My professor selected it new for this semester so we'll see what happens.

This text is really wordy. I found that It repeats information a lot of the time, there are however little inserts for the prototype drugs and the "nurses role" which is really useful when studying for an exam or the nclex! Honestly, I just focused on what the book emphasized and restated (about three times) and ended up getting a 102 on my last exam! Good luck to all of the future RNs reading this!! :)

Good book but I was pretty disappointed when the condition was good but the front and back cover were extremely worn and bent. Almost all the chapters already had highlighted material in it. Just frustrating when I thought I was ordering a decent book and recieved something that was less than good condition.

I did enjoy the presentation of the material and the language the book was written in. However, a whole section of cardiac medication is missing. The pages jump from 394 to 427. I looks like they were not added during production? What is even more disappointing, is I cannot contact the sellers because the return window is only a month long. So, I feel a little cheated and frustrated. Bottom line, the material is good, when it is there.

When you buy this book in order to get the answers from the end of chapter questions you have to purchase a supplement for another $50!As if the publishers don't make enough money off of the students. The older edition is more in-depth and has the end of chapter answers, i recommend that buy that one instead.

Overall a good textbook that combines pathophysiology and pharmacology Several incorrect prototype medication medication boxes. Support materials for students & instructors are good. Wish it was an audio enabled textbook!

This version was defective. It's missing the answer key to all the end of chapter questions, which as a nursing / pharmacology student, is crucial to studying. Brutal to pay full price for this and miss an incremental piece of the book when I could've purchased the older copy for less AND received the full book. They also expect you to pay an extra amount for the answer key, brutal customer service. Do yourself a favour and order the older version.

Delivery was within the time that we needed the book. Nice textbook.
