Removed all the valves quite easily from a Ford 1.0 ecoboost cylinder head. Tool is a bit clunky made of steel rather than light alloy but did the job no problem. Refitting after valve stem seal replacement went ok.

This worked very well and did the job I needed. Not a professional tool but great for someone doing a few bits at home and a bargain at the price the kit is

Save your money and buy something that actually does the job. This tool is not strong enough to compress the springs. Instead the body/frame just bends. Complete rubbish.

I bought this after finding out I needed a OHC spring compressor and not the OHV which I had already. Delivery was quick I got it in 10 hours of ordering (over night) it's sturdy doesn't flex and works seamless. Yes it is a bit more fiddly than a spring compressed one but it's a fraction of the price, Halfords wanted £65 for a spring compressed one with a 2 day wait. Bottom line is this is well worth the money and makes it so that you can easily get the valve springs out on your own. My car was a 2011 1.6 L focus if that helps anyone.

Attrezzo buono per lo smontaggio delle valvole, devo dire che le barre filettate hanno molto gioco nei fori filettati della impugnatura, quindi quando si stringe si potrebbe spostare fuori asse. Bisogna fare attenzione.Per il prezzo pagato sono soddisfatto.

Ho utilizzato l'attrezzo per smontare le valvole di un motore Honda SH150 (scooter). Si deve avere l'accortezza di sbloccare lo scodellino dove si incastrano i due semiconi con un piccolo colpo di martello in gomma prima di procedere alla compressione della molla. In questo modo la forza che dovrà esercitare l'attrezzo è solo quella della molla (la forza dell'incastro potrebbe essere notevolmente superiore). In queste condizioni è stato agevole tenere l'attrezzo in asse con una mano, mentre con l'altra si avvita il perno. Ho usato l'adattatore da 22 mm che andava perfettamente sulle molle da 21.5 mm di diametro. Sia per dare il colpetto di martello che durante l'uso del compressore ho messo un blocchetto di legno a protezione del fungo della valvola (sul cielo della camera di scoppio), per evitare che ci fosse contatto metallo/metallo.In queste condizioni lo smontaggio è stato molto semplice e l'attrezzo non si è deformato (come evidenziato in altre recensioni). Credo che non ci sarebbero problemi neanche con cilindri più grossi, ad es. per un bicilindrico da 650cc.
