Will it cover knicks in the wood, as opposed to just scratches?

The more you use it, the more permanent it becomes. I apply it and let it soak in overnight on my mahogany kitchen cabinets before wiping off excess. Also works well with a scratch cover pen for deeper scratches.

How well does the dark wood product cover dark cherry scratches

It covered my very light scratches good. I had some scratches from my cat that were slightly deeper & it did nothing. I had to buy a wood marker, witch covers up deeper scratches. Then go over it all with the Old English.

I use it on a front door...is there a better way to apply than a rag and your hand...spray on?

I had this exact same question! Today while doing my front door, I kept thinking how much easier it would be to apply it as a spray. I might try putting it in a pump spray bottle.

Does this work on dark bamboo wood (not laminate) floors?

I have dark bamboo floors and I feel this product does a good job covering the light surface scratches. I apply with a paper towel and wait a minute or so and wipe over with my hard floor cleaner.

Miracle

If you have destroyed any wood buy it and you will be happy you did. I had scratched up my banister so bad with my dog gate it looked like a tiger scratched it. I hate I don’t have before and after pictures but trust me it looks brand new. You can’t even tell it was ever scratched. This product is a miracle in a bottle.
