AmorettiPremium Syrup, Boysenberry, 25.4 Ounce

I am in no way associated with Amoretti but have bought several of their products for my custom flavored cakes. I have yet to be disappointed by them. They make the best flavored frosting you can imagine. You can't bake with them, but for a simple syrup and frosting, they can't be beat. To flavor a cake with their syrup, using a brush, paint the bottom of the cake, then flip it over, poke a few small holes (I use a chopstick), and brush the top with it also, making sure to get some in the all the holes. Makes a great different flavored cake when you do it right. Or just use a bit of it in the frosting to flavor it. For an elegant flavored cake, use the rose one for that. Highly recommend their products!

I love Boysenberry and I am a flavorist. I create flavor in a laboratory. It is hard to find true boysenberry - Smucker's having the best. Last time iI came in to search Boysenberry syrups up comes Amoretti's. Amoretti made a claim in their description I could not resist to see if it was true. They claimed to have boysenberry flavor "superior" to the leading Boysenberry syrup (brand,) and Smucker's is the only one I know has it. Bartenders can use Smucker's, or people just making a good smoothie. When purchasing this I tried to ignore the obvious fact the photo of the bottle shows very little berry tannin's [what makes the deep rich color] and the other odd fact they added caramel color to their product to perhaps make it darker. I did not want to prejudice from the taste and waited for it to arrive, It did arrive fast, on Christmas Eve no less. Packaging is lovely and could not be better.After tasting it-the purchase was worse than I thought. I wont use this if all food evaporated off the face of the earth in a nuclear doomsday situation and at best, if a neighbor wants corn syrup appearing sugar, with a slight blackberry note - I will give them this bottle. This syrup could not flavor any drink, as you would need 50% of the drink to achieve decent flavor.Amoretti is five times the price or better and after tasting it, ten times less flavor than Smucker's Boysenberry syrup. I do not even consider this a syrup and certainly NOT a "premium" one as they claim. Smucker's I can also dilute down to make juice-although there is some sugar, it is the only way to really secure natural flavor from the rare boysenberry,

i just got this syrup a few minutes ago,and with a single spoonful to taste it,it tastes nothing like the berry or the smuckers brand version,you can both smell that chemical smell from the sweetener and its not very good

Good taste but not consistentsy of pancake syrup. More Mente for cocktails or other drinks. Maybe snowcones. Just not for what I needed it for.

We made a pancakes and drizzled on both pieces a light to medium amount and it was perfect! You don’t really need that much. Add a little maple syrup to the mix. It’s pretty tasty!

I love this syrup! The taste is amazing! It's really good with lemonade, sodas, and snow cones! I've only had it for a few days, but it's already become one of my favorite syrups! I can't wait to try out even more flavor combinations!

Great syrup, bad pump. The pump needed near twenty pumps before it gave up any. I traded it out for a pump from Starbucks syrup and had no problems with that pump.

Great flavor to add to homemade lemonade.And etc. Tastes like boysenberry ! Some reviews say different. However, as we all know we all have different taste buds. This one was cool.
