A Great Phone for the price
I was looking for a replacement phone and didn't want to spend a lot of money. My previous phone was a NUU G3 that I've had for a few years and it was starting to show its wear and tear from lots of use. I started looking at the name brands and pretty quickly put those aside. As a previous NUU customer, I wanted to see what was new and saw they had just released the G5. It had only been posted for a couple of weeks and there were no customer reviews on Amazon, but since I had a very good experience with my G3, I didn't hesitate with the new to purchase the model. I can fully recommend it.I got my phone today and packaging was quite nice, very similar to the name brands. The screen is quite a bit larger than the G3 coming in at 6.55 inches, is flat and runs almost edge to edge. It is 720p, but the quality is very good and it is easy to see. One thing that is a great improvement with the G5 is that it can now be viewed with polarizing sun glasses. This was a must for looking at the screen outdoors. Overall, the G5, 6.55 inch screen is very nice. The image quality is great as well and plenty bright with good contrast. One small issue I had with the G3 was weak audio in the ear piece and I often found that I would use speaker phone just so I could hear. This is clearly not an issue with the G5, the ear piece audio is very adequate on the newer model. Also, NUU has added a 3.5 mm audio jack instead of the USB-C audio adapter from the G3. I consider this a plus as one less piece of hardware to keep up with. Of course you can always use a Bluetooth headphone instead.Another improvement was the move from Android 8 to Android 10. I'm excited to test out the new capabilities that come with that no matter how small they may be. After using the phone for a few days, the processor speed proved adequate and peppy enough to handle most applications. Jumping between email, FB and other applications was quick and seamless without noticeable lags. The only time lags were noticed was when the applications were first loaded. However once an app was open, switching between them was quick. One big enhancement on the new model is a much larger battery. After about a week with the phone, I've never run it below 75% which has been great. The rear camera resolution is 4 element 16 megapixels with 8, 2 and 2 rounding out the others on the rear. The dynamic range on the rear camera is great and shown in the nighttime photo and the outdoor pictures featured with this review. The other photos were NOT taken with this camera. The camera does very well in low light and of course includes a flash if needed and wanted. The G5 includes a front camera as well which is also 16 megapixels. In order for the screen to run edge to edge, the camera is 'punched' through the screen on the upper left. One change to the G5 is the removal of the selfie flash that was included on the G3. This is a small nuisance that may bother some but so far not irritating me.One concern I do have is that there were not any 3rd party cases offered. However, the is a simple case included with the phone. This is helpful, but I would like to get a real case to protect it when if eventually hits the floor which all phones do sooner or later. I'll be watching for this key accessory!Startup was super easy. Using the included tool, I removed the SIM card out of my old phone (Nuu G3), and inserted it in the new phone. There are 2 SIM slots so you can use 2 if you like, but not needed. The other slot could also be an SD card if you want extra storage. I turned on the phone and it asked a few questions. Make sure you know your Google Account credentials as you'll need them. This transferred all of my apps and content to the new phone. I still had to log into my accounts, but all of my SW was automatically loaded. In addition, there was a NUU firmware update waiting which I also installed. Everything came up easily although it did take about 30 minutes to do everything most of which was just waiting for all of my apps to download and install. Finally, the elephant in the room is price. For the price point that Nuu positions their products plus the features they offer made it a really easy decision to select this phone versus the name brands. The Nuu quality is great and the price is right if you are looking for a super phone at a great price. I highly recommend this phone for anyone on a limited budget or who simply doesn't want to spend a lot of money.

Let's talk
This is a excellent device to replace any flagship phone keeping in mind it does not have NFC or 5G also does not take night pictures well this device needs zoom real zoom on it.Must learn how to use this device over a period of time all options are there should have included a in detail guide book. After holding the device a while it begins to hurt your hand can't figure out why, yet have other devices same size or smaller and don't have this problem.

Long time 🔋,diverse functions, good purchase COMPETITIVE TO OTHER ANDROID MID-RANGE BUDGET DEVICES
3 weeks ago, my old Android phone dropped and was out of order immediately, so I watched lots of reviews on YouTube then found this absolutely awesome high-end-look phone. Generally, it has been a great device so far, I kind of rely on smartphone to do everything from surfing for entertainment to working, reading, learning,... and how fast it responses is beyond my expect. I like to save lots of contents from internet so I need a large capacity to handle those and this is so lovely with 64GB and it has a wide angle camera which is a plus, image quality is also very clear and good, you can search review G3/ G5 by videos to view,... The company is soooo helpful that they provide me an international simphone unlimited for free within 1 month, for those who need internet or data to use but haven't yet had any data services can see it pretty useful when they are in need. I believed I purchased for a phone case at the same time I bought it so when I opened the box it's there already, except from the charger and headphones, they give me a key 🗝️ to switch simcard from old device to this one, there are 2 slots for card so you can put another sim/ memory card inside. Work well with 4G LTE, super long lasting pin ( will need 2 hours to charge untill full but what the heck it lasts more than 24 hrs - if you sometimes let it rest a bit. Never see anything such long life battery for a long time ) ...Although I doubt this at first while looking at not so good reviews, I still really enjoy using it, one of my first phone is from HK, it's amazed me that this created by HKers too, from what I searched. However, quick fingerprint unlock at first, but it's a little slower now, still pretty quick, and I watch YouTube a lot, I was sad that it's 720p at maximum not even 1080p,...Highly recommend it, esp for those who familiar with Android and instead of some popular brands mid-range items ( if you have small budgets yet wish to buy a good phone ), this should definitely deserve your purchase and meet your needs.

Died within hours
Update: Two months since I shipped the phone to them and still don't have my phone back. Have had to get amazon involved. MAJOR FAIL!Original Post: Phone had major failure (DM verity corruption) immediately after the initial set up. Seller issued an RMA but I was required to pay for shipping (I guess that's in their warranty fine print so buyer beware). Seller has had the phone for 6 days (3 to 4 business days depending on time of delivery) with no update on the RMA. Email stated that they would have the repaired phone or replacement sent back within 1 to 2 business days. I expected to receive a tracking number for the returning phone by now. So far I'm not happy (obviously) once I get a working phone I might update when I see how the phone preforms.

Easy to use
I love this phone! I got mine a little cheeper because I got it second hand but it came looking brand new. It came with a phone case (a good thing because I can't find phone cases for this phone anywhere. That's might be my only complaint) the system is really easy to use and set up. So much storage space! The cameras are awesome and take beautiful pictures and has some editing and I believe the options to get more somehow. The screen is very big and beautiful. I bought a hard plastic screen protector for it however the screen seems strong with out it. Overall awesome phone. The only thing I would would say is it sucks not being able to find phone cases for it. If anyone finds some they should let me know.
