FiiO EX1 Aerospace Nanotech Titanium Diaphragm in-Ear Monitors, Black

I bought these to replace a lost set of more expensive Sennheisers and I must say I am totally impressed. Out of the box, they are comfortable and easy to insert. The bass is full, crisp, and not muddy at all. The midrange is sharp, and the high range is well rounded and not tinny as in so many earbuds. I listen to a wide range, from classical to jazz to rock, and found all genres to be well reproduced. I tried a number of equalizer settings and found all to be pleasing, so much that I use a neutral setting now and find it is adequate for most everything. As others have noted, the noise cancellation is not a hundred percent, but that does not bother me, as I'm not in a high noise environment. Overall I find these to be an excellent choice, especially for their price range, and look forward to using them for a long time.

These earbuds stay in place and wont fall out of your ear! They sit a little shallow in the ear canal but lock in place on your concha. They are made of steel and feel very robust. For sound quality, these sound very nice. I think they sound almost as good as my Sennheiser HD 558s. They have a pretty wide sound stage for earbuds, but the sound isolation is under par. They come with a dozen pair of eartip, a cable clip,and s a nice carrying case. They also have a rubber cable tie fastened on the cable. It is very handy for cable management.I would buy these again and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Amazing sound quality and soundstage from this IEM. Very balanced sound signature. Plenty of ear tip choices to find the perfect fit. I did not have a problem with these fitting in my ears correctly. They are extremely comfortable as well. They do leak sound but they were designed that way to deliver better sound quality and an open soundstage. They are great for any type of music, movies, and video games as well. These are the best sounding IEM's I have ever owned and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for great sound at a great price!

Overall I did quite enjoy the sound quality of these headphones. They were energetic and just overall a pleasure to listen to. However that being said recently I was listening to music and I got shocked by them. This is as bad as it sounds, think sticking your ear into an electrical outlet. I am now on the hunt for new headphones as I do not find this acceptable.

I had purchased these after the cord on my Sennheiser S4's broke. I did quite a bit of research beforehand and ultimately decided on these ones. I'd never heard of Fiio headphones or earbuds but I DID own a Fiio Mp3 players some years ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. Ok, so on to the product: First of let me say that for the price these are definitely worth every penny; nice, crisp highs, just-right midrange that lend some help to round out the clear and resonating bass.Now these aren't really meant to be subwoofers that you can stick in your ears.....they convey a very nice, 'round' yet (when called for i.e. think 'slap bass' a la 'Primus', 'Chili Peppers', 'Victor Wooten') sharp-enough resonance to allow you to hear and respect the talent and appreciate the music the way (at least I think) the artists INTENDED it to sound and respected.**TIP**- I often use my Fiio E06 headphone 'amplifier' with these IEM and then you can REALLY hear everything loud and l, honestly, think SO MUCH BETTER even if its not turned up too loud. They not only make the music LOUDER they seem to EQ it. PERFECTLY!*** All-in-all I'm very happy with my purchase. *ONE thing I have to say could be better is nose-canceling/isolation...meaning when I'm listening to something louder than 60% my wife says she can hear it 'perfectly'...that being said,the opposite is true to a extent in that I CAN HEAR the T.V. while listening to music sometimes.

i ordered fiiO in-ear monitors about a month ago. i was a bit reluctant to spend $70 on a product i wasn't even sure i was going to like, but when the package arrived, i was quite pleased. although the noise isolation isn't great, the sound quality is OUTSTANDING. it has a perfect balance of bass and treble. couldn't have been happier with my purchase — that is, until they stopped working. i had been taking proper care of these in-ear monitors, putting them away in the little travel case that comes included with it. i only got to use these for a month. one day i plugged them in and started listening to music but i noticed the volume was substantially decreased. i increased the volume to the loudest it could go on the phone and the sound was still extremely quiet. additionally, the left side was quieter than the right. it wasn't a problem with the phone because i tried other earbuds and noticed they worked fine. the earbuds never came into contact with water or other damaging substances, so far as i'm concerned. i see other reviews that question the durability of this product, and those are fair remarks. overall i'm disappointed, but hopefully amazon would be generous enough to send me a replacement.

I bought this ex1 because my brother owned the silver one and when i tried using it i was just competely astounded by its deep rich bass and crisp highs with the mids being spot on. I tried several cans i own a fidelio l1, m50x, marshall monitor, beats pro, beyerdynamics, and even the venerable soundmagic e10s (best value iem imo). I just love how such a small thing could create a sound signature akin to a full size headphone. Comfort is stellar! It just rests naturally on your ear even if your sleeping and lying laterally it would not create pressure and hurt your pinna. This is one true iem that you are required to take with you everywhere you go- plane,train,bus or heck even at work. Highly rrecommended! Dont hesitate and click buy you'll never regret.

Really punch above their weight in terms of price to performance, but they broke after a little while, right channel went out. So much for it's materials.

Ich habe mir diese Kopfhörer zu einem High res Audioplayer (iBasso DX80) gekauft. Ich möchte unterwegs Musik hören und dabei nicht von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten sein, ohne dabei auf guten, definierten Sound verzichten zu müssen. Mein Budget-Limit lag bei 90€. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meiner Wahl! Man muss sich bei diesen Kopfhörern bewusst sein, dass sie offen sind - sprich man hört nicht nur die Umwelt, sondern das Umfeld hört auch die Musik (wenn man ordentlich laut hört und jemand direkt neben einem ist), das finde ich aber nicht schlimm und bei "normaler" Lautstärke hört man außen nichts. Ich mag besonders den sehr räumlichen, transparenten Klang, vorallem für Jazz oder Klassische Musik ist das ein Muss, wie ich finde. Es klingt alles sehr ausbalanciert und natürlich. Wer auf heftige Bässe und direkten "punch" steht, für den sind diese Kopfhörer wohl eher nichts. Aber wer auf die ausgewogenheit der Frequenzen und hochauflösende Musikdateien Wert legt, wird hier zufrieden gestellt.Zu der Handhabung und Qualität der Verarbeitung: Die Gummi-artigen Kabel waren anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber auf lange Sicht verknoten sie sich deutlich seltener als die standard Kabel. Das liegt auch an dem praktischen "Zipper" den man entlang der beiden Kabel zu den Stöpseln hin hoch ziehen, und damit das verheddern der beiden Y-Stücke verhindern kann. Außerdem befindet sich ein kleiner Gummiverschluss am Kabel, mit dem man es nach dem aufrollen zusamnenhalten kann. Simpel aber total praktisch. Im altagsgebrauch ist der Kopfhörer in 3 sekunden hübsch zusammengepackt.Ich benutze die Kopfhörer jetzt seit 7 Monaten und gehe alles andere als vorsichtig mit ihnen rum. Oft landen sie irgendwo in der Tasche neben Schlüssel und anderem Kram und werden grob rausgezupft, bisher halten sie aber tadellos, nichts beschädigt oder verschleißt. Gut gebaut die Dinger.Das Tragegefühl mag ich auch sehr gern - es gibt nur die eine Stöpsel-Größe (nicht austauschbar) ich habe eher kleine Ohren und sie passen sehr gut und fallen nicht heraus. Auch bei langem Tragen wird es nie unangenehm.Alles in allem Preis-Leistung super! Ich kann sie empfehlen.

For anyone wanting to upgrade from a standard earbud (the ones that come with your phone or music player), you will be blown away by the incredible sound these can deliver. Crisp and clear on the highs without sounding fragile or tinny, and well balanced mids and lows. If you want heavy bass, these may not be the ones you want, but if you have an EQ, I'm sure they'll work. Now I need another pair for my spouse...

First I have to say this is the most value for money audiophile earphone available in the world market today.Build and comfort is very very good.Accessories you will get a earphone box and total 7 sets of ear tips.Now coming to sound its has one of the largest sound stage you can find in earphones. Instrument separation is very good. Low bass is excellent with accuracy. Highs are bright and extended. Mids are recessed slightly but it has natural tone. Details its produces is superb. It has a full range frequency sound so it produces very natural sound. Some entry level audiophile earphone are only good in mids.. so full range audiophile earphones are very expensive like shure se846,se535, senn i80, ie800 , grados, westone... . So totally ex1 sound quality will blow your mind.Hifiman re400 is no math for ex1. Re400 only good in mids and very narrow sound stage with 2D type sound. Ex1 has 3D type surround sound with full range freq sound from low to high. But re400 has smooth sound with great mids with smooth restricted low and high and forgiving sound for extended listening time.Some of the cons of ex1 I can think is its open earphones so it leaks sound and sound isolation is not good. And it needs fair amount of volume to shine and bring all details. That is to say I have sennheiser ie60 which can produce all details at very low volume. And also the mid bass is fast and transparent so you will not get tight punch. Highs may get little over bright or harsh for very bright or ill recorded music.Finally it beats every earphones I have(senneiser ie60, sony xb90, Bose soundtrue, shure se215,..) in sound clarity, sound stage and instrument seperation. This shows how good it is.Just buy it.

le produit n'est pas encore rodé mais procure déja une exellente qualité de son.je l'utilise avec un fiio x5 s2.très belle image sonore,belle spatialisation.les aigus ne sont pas agressifs,le médium en fait juste ce qu'il faut.quand aux basses parent souvent pauvre de pas mal d'intra,elles sont bien là ou il y en a,amples,dynamiques sans jamais etres éprouvantes pour l'oreille.ça ne fait pas boom boom et c'est tant mieux.bref une belle surprise.esthétiquement c'est simple et efficace le cable est suffisamment gros pour ne pas faire des noeuds.les ecouteurs sont robustes tiennent super bien dans l'oreille sans faire mal.en résumé:bel équilibre tonal,rendement élevé pour utilisation avec un lecteur un peu mou.a utiliser avec une bonne source et des fichiers de qualité mais plus personne n'utilise du mp3 128kbs non?

I migliori in ear finora provati. All'inizio non sembravano entusiasmanti, un po' troppo metalliche, ma dopo il rodaggio sono cambiate. Alti ben presenti ma senza effetto metallico, medi ben bilanciati, bassi presenti e ben frenati.A questo prezzo credo che non esistano concorrenti.Fiio si conferma come un produttore di alta qualità
