Man, I bought these thinking there was no way they'd be better than mediocre, right?MF WRONG.For the price, these are outstanding. Pretty diddly ding dang good. Sure, it's a bullet nib and a chisel nib and there's no brush nib in sight. Sure, the colors on the caps aren't really accurate. But for a tenth of what you'd pay for a copic, per marker, complaining about that is unreasonable. You get more than you pay for, regardless of any nitpicking we might could do.You're not gonna get much in the way of light, pastel or muted tones in the 42 pack, but I was able to supplement these by buying individual markers in the shades I wanted from another brand. This is a good base set, both to build on and to dip your toes into the alcohol markers pool, so to speak.

Better than Prismacolor
Update; I added enother photo after a lot of playing around. These are amazing to work with, and really helped me get back into routinely drawing. And yes, I did forget the mask in the drawing...when you notice after adding color it is just too late 😭I have Prismacolor markers, which I honestly never liked very much. The colors always look muddy, and they absorb too fast into all papers. They were always so dark (even on bristol.)I used regular drawing paper for the testing of these markers, which held up great. The colors are vibrant, and blend well. I have no problem filling in areas without streaking. These seem similar to Copic markers (I have never used them, but have seen many others and they seem like they are the same.)I will be trying these out on some bristol as well (we are currently moving so my art supplies are sort of stuck in a moving box somewhere..)The smoother your paper, and less absorbent, the brighter the colors.I wish I had gotten some skin tones in this, but all I have is the warm grey.

Where have you been all my life
I’m so in love with heathers markers! A few year ago a friend introduced me to alcohol inks. They came in tiny little bottles, cost like a new TV (or almost that much), and were absolutely amazing for coloring polymer clay. I did a lot of “distressed” pieces with those inks and fell in love with them. Alas, having come in bottles, there was no way to control the flow for more precise applications. It was only good for washed out backgrounds, but not for any detailed work. In took me this long to find out the same very ink come in pens!!! This is the first set I have ever bough, and I’m in LOVE. They give me the same blended effects, with a lot more control, AND this entire set costs as much as ONE single tiny bottle of ink I used to buy! Recommended!

The colors are vibrant.
My daughter really loves these markers. This is a great set of markers for beginners. Good variety of colors that are vibrant, they blend and mix well. Pens fit nice and snug in the case. The markers don’t feel bulky or heavy in one’s hand, so they are really comfortable to use. They are somewhat darker than expected. This is common in markers of this type, but slightly worse in this brand. The colors are heavy, so they bleed through paper a little more than expected. By the way the case is very nice.

Very good quality pens
I’m a keen crafter and liked the fact that these pens not only come in a huge variety of very useable colors, but that they are double ended too give each color writing options. One end is a fine tip the other is angled for a more calligraphy effect if desired. Colors are vibrant and come in a handy carry/storage case. Great value for money as very high quality.

Intense numbered colors but also intense smell
I really wanted to like these but I was not able to keep using them because of the smell. Possibly all alcohol markers have a strong smell. Here are the pros and cons.Pros:Clear, intense colors.Pens are individually numbered making it easy to prepare a swatch sheet for reference.Sturdy zipper case keeps them together.Tip comes to a good point.Cons:Very strong smell, too strong for me to tolerate.Like most similar markers they bleed through light to medium weight paper, so don’t expect to use them in adult coloring books. They really are nice, but I'm going to pass them on to someone less bothered by the smell.

Great buy
The kids love these. They are high quality for sure. The colors are bright and blend smoothly. Great for art projects or anyone who loves to draw. Would be a great set for someone who is passionate about drawing comic books.

Great Quality! Value for Money! Many color variations...
I tried multiple colors from few stores and then I ordered this art markers from Amazon. These has 42 different colors variations. My 6 yrs old daughter is able to use it to color the pictures easily. As these colors have sharp tip, it is easy to color the borders.Due to different color variations, I was able to make my daughter learn, how to choose appropriate matching and contrast colors for different pictures and she created beautifully colored pictures.Additional to this, I got disconnected price on Amazon compared to other stores, so this is great value for money. I am going to buy this again when color ink is over.
