Caseology Vault Compatible with Sony Xperia 5 II - Matte Black

There are very few premium cases for this phone out there right now but fortunately I was able to stumble across this one on Amazon. This case is definitely one of the best I've owned for a smartphone, period.It's not too bulky, keeps the phone snug and doesn't compromise the screen's real estate. Material feels solid and the phone itself feels well protected, especially with the slightly raised lips around the edges of the case.The best feature I have to say is the back of the phone as it makes handling it very easy and comfortable. I love the fact that it's textured giving it more grip (especially if you have sweaty hands) and that matte finish means that you'll be seeing less stains which is always a bonus. Lastly, the contrasting panels are a nice touch.If you're in the market for an Xperia 5 ii case, I'd highly recommend this one as it's great value for money and especially as the phone could be a pain to use without one. I myself am thinking of grabbing another one as a back-up just in case (:

I didn't expect much from this case given the price and the fact that the phone is very new and there's always a lot of rubbish products to sort through. I was surprised by the quality of this case, it is sturdy but not overly bulky, has a nice matte finish that is nice and grippy, fits snugly to the phone so I don't worry about it falling out of the case if dropped, and it looks smart if a little plain and functional. Buttons are decent with space around the power/fingerprint scanner for easy access and there is space around the charging port that should fit all chargers. Overall very satisfied for the money!

I had a clear back case on my previous Xperia phone and wondered how I would find the black matt finish. It is fine and has a nice secure feel to it. It fits well whilst allowing access to all buttons and ports. I use the fingerprint login all the time without any problems.

This is best option for anyone who has the Xperia 5 ii. It's a nice case with good protection and a nice build quality. All the functions of the phone work with this case. I have not had any issues with any of gestures or with side sense... The case has nice mate grippy finish which adds a nice grip to the phone when using it with this case. All the cut outs are precise and power/finger print read is easier to find. All in all this a really good case and would recommend it to anyone who is struggling to find a good quality case for the Xperia 5 ii as current options are limited.

had this case and phone for 12 months now and I like the case very much ,phone has been dropped a few times and the fingerprint area works every time I switch the phone on. I have had no issues with any of the side mounted buttons, they all work and I hardly notice the google specific button so that does not cause meANY STRESS. THE CASE FITS REALLY snug and prises on and off with ease. I would have liked a little more texture all over but I Have just become used to what it has so maybe not too much of an issue. all in all I am very happy with it. I haven't dropped phone in water yet so I guess that is the big test for the case too.well worth the money, It was not my first choice of cases but at the time choice was limited. I'm glad I took the plunge!now in 2022 the case still works like magic, no issue with cutouts and have bounced the phone a few times : i had a stroke in 2020 so im clumsy. the case is really very good stays on the phone but peals off easy too. buy one now!

Excellent cover, I've never bothered with a cover before, but this resolves two negative points of the Xperia 5ii. Firstly the phone was too slippy, kept hearing a thud as it slipped off the sofa. Cover fixes that. Other issue is the phone is too narrow, the cover widens it just enough to be reasonablely comfortable in your hand, maybe not quite as good as my old Xperia XZ1, but not bad.All the ports and buttons easily accessible, and it now means the camera lenses aren't sticking out the furthest on the back to be scraped every time you put it down.Guess it will also add a bit more protection if dropped.

Very happy with this case, it's a good snug fit, the screen ends up recessed enough to offer basic drop protection, all the buttons work perfectly and the case causes no obstruction to the cameras or other things that need a cutout. The 3.5mm headphone jack cut out is particularly good for me as it allows for the larger, higher quality connectors to be used.Overall it offers a good grip, compared to the super slidey Xperia 5ii that is inside it, so I'm much less worried about accidently flinging the phone across the room when I go to answer a call.It's on par with Spigen cases I've had for previous Sony handsets, it just seems they are late off the mark getting one out for the Xperia 5ii, so I had to switch brands - but happy I have done so.
