i have lots of experience putting together furniture and took me total of about 3 hours to complete. i did this over 2 days because i was exhausted after 2 hourswooden headboard holder that runs width wise does not screw in to one of the side bracket because predrilled hole was too deep. it may possible to fill in the hole with some filler for screw to grab onto but when we found this out the whole bed was nearly put together and it would require us disassembly to fill the wholeslats r not wide enough that i only screw in one sides on each set of the predrilled holes. screwing down two screws in a set would mean screwing very close to the edge of the wood framefor the price i paid i expected these two issues to not be present. i did expect that the hardness of installation from the reviews but it still required so much muscle power

Oh, the whirlwind that was my effort to get a refund for this terribly built product... - The front legs twisted/broke the first time I sat on it. (200lbs) Pictured is one of the front legs and the block that would have sheared off if I hadn't fixed it. - It took months of back and forth with the third-party seller to get a partial refund. - The box it came in was so mangled I couldn't ship it back and I definitely wasn't going to keep a 7+ foot, damaged cardboard box in my house till this was resolved... then because of this I didn't have the box and they wouldn't accept my return. -Really do yourself a favor and don't buy this unless it's from Amazon directly.

it took a bit to put together, def a two person job- but overall nothing you can’t handle. everything feels super sturdy and can also handle the usual fall onto bed after a long day. we love the way it looks!

This bed is the hardest piece of furniture I have EVER had to put together. I am pretty good at putting furniture together and having moved recently, have assembled countless pieces recently. This was the absolute worst. The screws almost all require allen wrenches, and a large chunk of them are in little slots that don't allow you to turn the allen wrench 360 degrees so you have to do little minutia turns over and over. It took several hours over two days and I had to call in help. The side legs at the front don't line up exactly, leading to a sloppy look which is not what I want after spending $600, more than I ever have on a bed frame. After finally assembling, it feels sturdy enough, and looks decent, but I am super bitter after all the blood, sweat and tears it took to assemble.I wish I had bought the CB2 version which apparently comes with assembly. Would have been worth the extra $400.

This bed is so beautiful. Love everything about it. Don’t hesitate.

Very sturdy, and came as pictured. Make sure you have lots of time and space to put this together as assembly is ROUGH.

The bed is beautiful, solid wood, feels sturdy and high quality, and exactly as it looks on the Amazon listing. It fits our dream cloud queen mattress perfectly! It sits fairly low to the ground, but we knew this based on measurements so ordered a thicker mattress. The instructions could have been a bit clearer. It says 30 minutes, but took us over an hour. Still so in love!
