Greek Figure Poseidon with Trident Decor Gift Objet D Art Neptune

Even though originally I wanted a white version of this figurine, I'm very much satisfied with this one. It's amazing.

Long a collector of Greek mythology, I always wanted a perfect rendering of Poseidon. For me, perfection is in Neptune Fountain, Piazza del Nettuno by Giovanni Bologna. But all examples I've ever seen of sculpts for public consumption have been extremely lacking. Everything is in the details of replicating the original in this sort of thing. However, when I saw this piece I decided to take a chance on it as it looked perfect and the price was more than reasonable. I was totally stricken with how perfect this item is! It is THE defining sculpt of the original! If this is the sort of thing that matters to a potential customer, then this is absolutely a must have whether it is displayed in a group setting or as a stand alone coffee table accent, it is without question the original statue in minature and a bronze finish.

Have been looking for a good representation of Poseidon for sometime , this one is exquisite ! The attention to detail is outstanding and it is an perfect size, an admirable addition to my collection.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ! It's got some heft & weight to it. Exceeded my expectations. Looks and feels like a miniature bronze statue worthy of Talos (from the movie Jason & the Argonauts).

He's standing tall on a 20 foot tall pileing on my dock. Every one going by now salutes him! Been out on dock for over a month and still looks great!*Update*Workers wanted old one for their barge, so I'm ordering another one, after 5 years, a little faded, trident broke, as expected. Holds up great otherwise.
