IVY Classic 27001 Bi-Metal Lock Installation Kit With Guide Template for Steel And Wood Doors, Carded

Had to update locks on GF's doors. Deadbolts were old smaller diameter bore so this looked like a good product. Did a rough job to rebore...plastic not very rigid so need very steady hands...threaded shaft does not fit the smaller hole saw.Got job done but not as nice as I would have preferred.

The 1in hole saw does not fit the included arbor bit which defeats the purpose of calling it a "kit". The other reviews that state this same issue are a couple years old so a little surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

Used it once and had to change to the smaller bit provided and the threads did line up. Had to dig up a another bit and make it work. The kit was worthless. Would have been better off doing it the old fashion way.

Handy, but Guide Template continually slipped from it's locked position, damaging doors. Easy to use - would recommend, despite the issues with the template.

Buy a better kit

Easily works to do what needs to be done!!

Excelente producto

Steel sheathed door. It worked perfectly, but the arbor did not fit the smaller hole drill... Fortunately, I have a big tool chest.
