Never used these before I needed extra high-end work and had to see a specialty dentist. She recommended these instead of simple wooden or plastic toothpick kind of tools. I still keep the slender toothpick thingies in the repertoire for a few teeth that are too close together to use these little dental brush flossers. But she stressed that these dental brush flossers will provide a more through cleaning between the teeth, helping with food, bacteria, tartar and plaque.The only thing I don'l like is they are rather delicate. But you aren't supposed to use them beyond 24 hours anyway because you don't want to build up bacteria -- and even then, my dentist said to ONLY re-use them in the same day if you can rinse them off after each use. That means if travelling or dining out, throw them away after each use (that's not so expensive as they are sold in bulk.) So they are now part of my daily dental care rituals.

I had been using a plastic stick like flossing device that is no longer made. I thought I would try these and am happy I did. They're basically little bristle brushes. They clean better than anything I've ever used for flossing. They're also very durable and with careful cleaning can be re-used if one desires. These come in two sizes. Both are fine for my somewhat gappy teeth. The larger of the two is a somewhat tight fit in a couple spots. I'd recommend getting the two-size blue and red to see which size fits you best.

These work, as advertised. The brush seems like high quality. The metal stem is a little flimsy. The only gripe is these arrived loose in a box. Not a big deal but felt a little unsanitary.

Wanted to find a replacement for the Equate version of dental brush but turns out these sticks are too short and made for teeth that extra spacing between teeth.

I happened upon these little brush flossers around 5 yrs. ago and have since been ordering a package of 100 every 4-6 weeks. I floss more often now because they're quicker and easier than waxed string, and more effective than toothpicks. Each box has 4 different sizes which is practical because teeth in a mouth are spaced differently. I offer them to dinner guests instead of toothpicks. Everyone asks where I bought them and are surprised at the price. If only they came in a lightly minted flavor.....
