An excellent camera

The setup was easy. It worked exactly as expected without even reading the manual. The picture quality is good.Big bonus! ... It has a built-in, easy to use lens cover. You just slide the lens cover left/right to open/close it. Super easy and really useful. And you can't lose it!!

I am very happy using AverMedia Live Streamer CAM on my monitor.

Updated review. Nice camera, sometimes challenging to keep it working and use all of the features in the app.

Since having to go too Zoom meeting I got one of these from the university department as a device, and liked it so much I got one for our home too.

I purchased this item at my local Staples store on clearance and I could not be more pleased! Super easy mount (on my laptop lid with no issues) and the settings are super easy to navigate. My livestream producer loves it and wants one for himself!

I like this camera and honestly don't understand where the negative reviews are coming from. Maybe some are faulty or malfunction, but mine works great. Plug and play. On my Asus Laptop i have a built in 720p camera and I have asked people on Zoom which is better (Avermedia or built-in) and they all say the Avermedia is better. I look at recorded meetings with me and am happy with the quality too.

I changed my old webcam whose audio configuration all of a sudden doesn’t work with teams and zoom; I attached a good quality external mic and I got comfortable with that setup but when I needed to use the webcam on my other desktop in another room, the need for the audio became apparent so I scouted for a new one and got one about $75 and end up returning it; This webcam is discounted at $45 so I ordered to test; all my coworkers not only noticed that my video is clearer, they also said the audio was better than when I had an attached external mic. That works for me but now to see how long it will work this well.
