Hold-a-Rug Plush 2' x 8' Nonskid, Nonslip Rug Pad, Reversible Gripper, ¼ Thick, Safe for All Floors and Carpet, Keep Area Rugs Secure

Recently I got a new carpet in my apartment and when I put my small rug (3' x 5')on it it started to roll and make waves. On my old carpet it did not. I tried steaming, putting have objects and nothing helped till I bough 3' x 5' Nonskid, Nonslip Rug Pad. I was worried that the pad will be thick but it is not. It is sticky on one side but not like crazy glue sticky. It is easy to separate the carpet from the pad. It works like a miracle. Finally my rug is flat and even though I put the coffee table on it, it stays flat. I bought the pad over 3 weeks ago and so far it works. I am very happy with the purchase because I did not wanted to go thru the hassle of re-stretching my new carpet since it looks and feels flat.

Bought a new sectional with chaise and wanted to define the area in front of it. A small rectangular oriental rug over an already wall to wall carpet did the trick, but it was constantly bunching up even though it was "tucked" under the furniture. I can't believe the difference and so far it has stayed in place with this pad. I bought the 5x8 (which I thought was a little strange) since standard rug measures 5x7 but it was easy to trim (and had good instructions). The "rug store" wanted $70 for a standard (one size fits all). I am glad I got this one although it was a little more money than I thought I would have to spend, but worth every penny.

We got runner sized pads to go under the runners we had around the edge of a light colored dining room area rug (to keep it clean) kept moving all over the place. No sooner than I had them all lined up again and I'd turn around and it seemed like they had shifted already. We've have had these new pads a week or so now and NOTHING has moved. As I said, they're not inexpensive but, well, now we've got them and that should be that! (Also, they're nice and 'cushy' too.)

I have a runner in the hallway near the door to outside to avoid having a soiled path over the beige wall-to-wall carpeting. I’d been resetting the shifting runner every day as it “crept” around constantly. This item did the trick and that puppy is staying put in the middle of the hallway now. Whew! Am I happy now!

We have a thin 10 x 13 foot Area Rug on top of a Berber Carpet.We purchased a very thin 'Adhesive' liner to place between the Berber and the Area Rug as was recommended by a big-box store carpet department person so that the area rug would not move. This never worked to keep wrinkles from forming on the area rug, and we once or twice a month had to move furniture and pull on the Area Rug to remove the wrinkles.We did this for months and months.We finally spent some time searching the internet and then Amazon to find something to fix this problem.We found the Hold-a-Rug Pad that can be 'configured' for Rug-On-Solid-Flooring or Rug-On-Carpet in multiple sizes, and bought one.That was in September 2022, and as of Thanksgiving week 2022, the Area Rug is wrinkle-free and has remained that way despite a nightly 'rotating' of a heavy Zero-G recliner [on sliders] from facing the window to facing the TV, and back again.And walking on the thin Area Rug now feels like we are walking on an expensive 2-inch thick plush carpet.We could not be happier with this Carpet Pad, and highly recommend it.

I bought these because I've got dogs that do zoomies around the house. I tried multiple other products that "kinda" help the rug stay in place under gentle conditions but totally fail once the dogs get riled up. These grip like crazy and do not move 1 millimeter. Perfect. 10 stars

We tried several things to keep the hallway runner in place but nothing worked. Carpet kept walking and bunching. We knew the minute we opened the package that this would work. Mildly adhesive but not sticky- more like grippy. It is fantastic and the runner now stays put! Thank you! Will recommend to anyone.
