Let's Rock!
My 18 month old daughter really likes this keyboard. We wanted to introduce her to musical instruments and thought this would be a great start. It seems well constructed and should survive being stepped on and dropped. We were a bit disappointed that only the white keys work. The black ones are just for show and don't move at all. We wish there were a song tutorial or a Simon type of game, especially since the keys light up different colors. Cookie Monster does give positive feedback when your child hits many keys very fast. Song choices are very limited too, would have liked more I know, I know, that's asking a lot for such an affordable toy. But that's what it is, a toy. Not so much an educational tool, but a toy. As long as you keep this in mind, you'll be happy. Oh, one more thing ..... there is no volume control, just an on/off switch underneath, and this thing can be pretty loud. All in all a good purchase.

Black Keys don't play
For the money this is a great little toy piano for very young kids, but I was totally shocked to find out the BLACK KEYS DON'T WORK! They are just hard plastic and make no sound- are only for show. Total consternation. Who would dream of making an 8 key piano without the black keys making sound? There are very few songs to be played without minor notes. My twins don't use this toy very much, and they love music. How disappointing.

Black keys don't work!
Our little guy LOVES cookie monster, so we thought this would be the perfect gift. He loves to play the piano keys, and there is a setting where it just plays piano (and not songs). However, the black keys don't work?! Seriously? Our 1 year old knew that wasn't right. If that was fixed, I'd give this 4 stars. 5 stars if it were more environmentally friendly.

Obnoxious
I was looking forward to the mode where you can just hit the keys to play, but NO, this thing makes noises every 3 seconds! LOUD INTERRUPTING phrases by the Cookie Monster voice (constantly encouraging things like, "Let's rock and roll!"). SO ANNOYING, and you can't even turn town the volume.

Perfect toy for my infant
My daughter loves Elmo so she got the rock with me Elmo for Christmas. I have been getting her the 3 instruments that interact with him and they all are great. She gets tons of entertainment out of them, and it they take the beating a small child gives to them with no problems. Very happy with this product!

Not part of a band
It interacts with Elmo but not the other items/friends that go along with the "Let's Rock" set. If you have visions of creating a sesame street band that all plays together it is not going to happen.

Perfect for my daughter to play with and hear the sounds of cookie monster. She loves sitting there and smashing the keys so she can here herself making music!

My daughter got this for her 2nd birthday, along with the Elmo doll it interacts with. She plays with it alone, as well as with the doll. It talks, lights up and makes music. She really enjoys it
