Good for keeping baby comfortable in water a little longer
As other reviewers have posted, these do run big especially on the skinny babies who need them most. It does provide additional warmth compared to a swim suit, but has its limits. I would estimate from my experience with 2 babies, that you are likely to get about 15-20 additional minutes in the water compared to without it. So if your child is turning blue and shivering 5-10 minutes into swim class, they should be able to tolerate a 30 minute swim class just starting to get cold in the last few minutes, but would not likely be able to stay in longer. Time will still of course vary tremendously depending on water and air temperatures and of course each child is different. It is very easy to get on and off which is a plus for the wrap style. Velcro is very strong so this is good and bad. It won't wear out quickly, but tends to get caught on things (including itself) and cause snags and pilling. It also fades quickly in chlorine pools so colors don't stay so vibrant.

My 2 year old daughter is swimming MUCH BETTER because of this kit!
Great Swim kit!Our local pool is very cold some weekends and my toddler daughter was spending way too much time shivering and clinging to me but with this suit it traps in her body heat better than the fabric long sleeve bathing suits. Now she stays warm and is focused on moving around in the water with is a positive feedback since her moving around keeps her warmer than when she was stationary and shivering.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yay for positive pool time!
Wild about this. I had a dream we got a new one that fit her (now that she's almost 1 year old). I'm so sad babies grow so fast because this wetsuit was amazing. We got the 0-6 month size so I knew her time would be limited in this but i wanted to be sure her first experiences in the water were positive.Well, we used this in an outdoor (chilly) pool in June and she actually had a good time, and had more and more fun as the summer went on with consecutive pool visits! So glad a friend turned me to this great product. It fit great.DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the benefits of lay-flat designs. Being able to unvelcro this on the table/changing table is KEY. To lay your baby down and velcro around them vs. shoving it on like a regular onesie over their head means no traumatizing experience. If you aren't in a super hot climate with warm water, make sure to get your baby this wetsuit! Remember, babies lose body heat much faster than we do and they like to be snuggled and warm, especially in a foreign environment. Make sure their experience is great so that you have a happy water baby!

Wrong size, but great quality
The product is of great quality and as described. I was sent the wrong size. I ordered 6-12mo and received 12-24mo. Will be reordering. Hopefully they send the correct one this time around.Edit: I was sent a replacement very quickly. They sent the correct size. My 18lb 6 month old fits it perfectly and there is plenty of room to grow into it. We go to the indoor pool at the Y once a week and this keeps him nice and warm. He has been in the pool for 45 minutes (moderately heated) and does not get blue or shiver. Overall, a great product.

A must-have for baby swim classes
I started bringing my daughter to swim lessons when she was 7 months old. It's a heated pool, but it's outdoors, and most mornings it's been about 55 degrees during the lesson (May in the Bay Area). This wetsuit has kept her warm and happy throughout the classes, to the point that the instructor was asking me about it after class because she was amazed at how well it was working. My daughter's arms and legs get a little cool, but she's never started shivering or gotten goosebumps, and when I change her in the locker room she is so warm under the wetsuit that she's practically steaming. Highly recommended!

Easy to adjust and use
We purchased this since our son gets cold easily. It has been great to use at the beach and pool. He has been able to stay in the water much longer without shivering. I would say 30 min each session without issue. Before he would get cold 10-15 min into a swimming session. The sizing runs a bit large so if you are unsure go with the smaller size. Our son is 23 lbs and 20 months and the small size worked for us. You can adjust the shoulders if your child grows taller.

Huge Win for Baby Swim!!
I am SO glad we found these baby wetsuits! They are a lifesaver, especially in the pool where my kids get cold within 15 minutes. The wetsuits provide them with enough insulation to play happily for an hour. Well worth the money. The Babywarma has adjustable velcro that definitely accommodates the full age range advertised, and can probably stretch to a slightly smaller or larger kid. We visit the pool twice a week so I went ahead and bought the 6-12 month size with my youngest was 8 months old, as the 0-6 was getting small and I thought 12-18 would be too big. The only possible concern I have is easily avoidable - depending on how you fasten the velcro it can irritate baby's skin (if the rough side is exposed). Once you realize this, it is easy to cover up the rough part of the velcro and avoid the problem. Highly recommend!

We bought this for my 10-month-old son who was getting too cold during swimming lessons. It definitely keeps his core much warmer so he is not shivering in the pool. We got the red one with the strawberries on the side, who cares if it might be perceived as girly, it keeps him warm!

I love my baby in it!
This is a fantastic product. Supreme quality, not a stitch out of place, nice to touch fabric. Easy to wrap on and off which is a great help with a wriggling baby boy of 5 months, especially when wet. Great design - no blood circulation issues, mentioned with other similar products. Seems to keep my baby warm well enough, the materials used are thick with inside lining. If you are planning to get one for you baby - do not search any further. My baby is quite tall for 5 months... 70cm/8.3 kg so after some consideration I opted for 6-12 months size, and it's just right for now. I will need next size up after 2-3 months though, so keep it in mind if your precious is on a big side. Also worth mentioning very good customer service and fast delivery - in 2 days of ordering, despite Amazon advising of almost 1 week of delivery time.

This seemed to keep my baby warm but it rubbed on her arm-the edging of the velcro which is rough. And left red marks each time, she always seemed to get irritated after 15 minutes. Her irritating stopped as soon as I stopped using the warmer. She was an average sized 3.5 month old when I bought this.

Good but not great
Nice little Baby warma, however the shoulder straps are strapped on the back.Pro - it prevents the little one from undoing the strapsCon - it's a bit of a struggle to secure the shoulder straps with a very wriggly baby

Don’t recommend for babies that don’t know how to swim by themselves
Bought it for my 5 month old as it was recommended by the swimming instructor. It was very uncomfortable for her. At the end of the 30 minutes swimming lesson she was all red under her chin and arms. The suit rubbed against her skin as my husband held her. The suit was the right size so it’s just a matter of the material being to rough for baby’s skin.I don’t think it did a good job keeping her warm either as she was shaking after 20 minutes in the pool.

good design but small changes to material would make it better
It’s very easy to put on and take off especially when baby is wriggly. Only problem is the material around the back of the neck area gets hard when wet so it made my baby neck go sore and red as it rubs against it.
