“Yeah man, I finally got some Maxtrax” Stop, you don’t need $300 recovery boards just to mount them on your truck for the clout of a name brand. You’re not that special, get these. They’re lighter and work just fine, yes I’ve used them. They’re a great substitute for when you don’t want to or can’t pull winch line.

Though I have not had the opportunity to deplay these boards, they appear to be a very high qualify build. The traction nubs seem durable and should last a good long time. I appreciate the nylon bag while I figure out how I want to mount them to my roof-rack but I doubt that I'll be that guy that just leaves the on there 24X7, 365. NOTHING surives Arizona sun for long and I would prefer to keep these around as long as possible. Waste not, want not. The size is perfect and I expect they will definitely get me out of most situations that I might find myself in, short of needing a winch.

These are a nice budget friendly alternative to the higher dollar recovery boards. The design and quality are similar to recovery boards that were over twice as much.

Honestly, whether you're overlanding, beach cruising, or exploring backcountry trails, traction boards are a no-brainer. They're cheap insurance when things get sketchy and they work. Highly recommend for any serious off-roader or weekend adventurer!

I bought these for my Brother-in-law after we got stuck in the middle of a pasture that seemed dry. We got out, with some digging, but these boards would have saved us that work.Nice storage bag. They are well made and look like they will do the job

I don't know why people pay 2, 3, 4 times as much for extraction boards. Maybe if you are getting stuck every day? For me, these are used rarely, but are quite sturdy, come in a nice zippared case, and are good peace of mind for a great price.

These might not be as robust as MaxTrax, but at half the price and for a light vehicle, I'm quite satisfied.
