Ordered 2 and 1 was dead on arrival, thankfully easy exchange on Amazon and was able to get a 2nd working one within a few days. The plate itself is good material and extremely easy to install. Works well with my Single Pole Leviton Rocker light switches. The dimming feature and light sensor works well too. Brightness is good enough to be located while lighting the pathway especially when pitch dark in my hallways and not having outlets in my hallway for plug in night lights. Clean look as well! Overall happy with the SnapPower plate!

These lighted faceplates are the Best you can buy. They may seem a little pricey but, they do last, and two settings for brightness. I wouldn't buy anything else if you are looking for light in a certain area,besides who wants to change the receptical just to light up a faceplate to have some light in the John in the Middle of the night.Ha! Easy install and they do come with the install tool, which is so simple to use. I will be buying more for sure as I go.Highly recommend

I really like the design and functionality of this product. Installation was quick and easy. Before buying, I suggest you check the existing switch's compatibility first using the guide on Snap Power's website. This cover plate may work with your switch, but be prepared to wire a new compatible switch (as in my case).

.love these night lights! I have several throughout the house. They provide just the right amount of light to find your way. Especially in the bathrooms so you don’t have to blind yourself with bright lights in the middle of the night.

Arrived on time in perfect condition, installed in under five minutes with a screwdriver. Didn't turn off the breakers to install, though you could if you wanted to be extra careful. The only problem I had at all was that if I screwed it in as far as it would go it didn't make perfect contact so the nightlight went on and off. I back the screws out a few turns and it worked perfectly. It looks great, the ability to change the nightlight strength is great, and it gives give just the right amount of light. Love it, and will most likely buy more!

I bought one of these quite a while ago and never installed it. I finally got around to installing it. The concept is great, mine just didn’t work. I tried it on two different Leviton switches thinking that perhaps the contacts just didn’t quite line up on the first switch I tried to install it on. I made sure the switch (on the SnapPower faceplate) was in, power was in to the switch, and I covered the sensor/switch to test it. Nothing. I removed the SnapPower faceplate, inspected it, and tried again. Same result. I tried another switch, and same result. I had an extra Leviton switch, so I checked to see whether the SnapPower contacts line up with the screws. They do, not perfectly, but certainly enough to make adequate electrical contact that they should work. So either my SnapPower face plate is defective, or it doesn’t work if the hot and return wires are connected to the switch using the push-in connectors rather than the connector screws? It has been too long for me to return this one, so I’m stuck with an overly expensive spare faceplate. I’m pretty handy and technically savvy, and these are ultra simple, so it’s definitely an issue with the one I bought.

This product is exceptionally easy to install. I was prepared to flip the breakers & remove the entire switch to install, but honestly you could just slide it in without doing that. Though, for safety, flip the breakers.Our apartment bathroom has zero windows, this has made the difference.The lowest light setting is still a bit bright (but so much dimmer than any low setting on a night light).Cons:It is a bit expensive. Install is more work than plugging into an electrical socket.Pros:Does NOT take up an electrical socket. Easy install overall. LED so should last a very long time.

I had originally purchased these for my parents who had night lights all over their house that used incandescent white bulbs that would go out every few months. I placed them in the hallways and bathrooms about a month ago and since the light points down instead of up it lights up the area much better. I decided to purchase for my house too for the long hallways I have. They could be tricky to install if you have bunch of wires shoved in the box you want to install in, but with a little effort it will slid right in. I am pleased with the look and performance.

We're no expert, but doesn't take a super handy person to install. We installed it as a partial night light for the kids when using the washroom. It's bright enough (but not too bright) to allow them to know where the light switch is right away. I would recommend this over adding a night light in the washroom or room. Sleeker design and minimal look.
