Liquid Rubber Black Liquid EPDM Roof Coating 1 Gallon

Worked exactly as advertised. We had a difficult-to-locate leak somewhere around two skylights on our membrane roof. Pro roofers painted sealing compound on various seams to no effect. My wife and I mixed up a gallon of Liquid Rubber and coated the heck out of the area between and around the skylights, then poured the remainder between them to eliminate a low spot where water collected. Shortly afterward, Hurricane Matthew obligingly dumped several inches of water on the roof. No more leak! Worth every penny.Before you buy - Know that mixing in the catalyst absolutely requires a drill-operated paint mixer (they are cheap enough to be disposable and available at any big box hardware store) and a fairly strong electric drill. I had to hold the can between my feet while running the mixer to keep the can from spinning.

I used this to seal the joints in my pond. It goes on fairly easily. Each coat cures in a day and remains somewhat flexible. Two coats give a waterproof coating. Sloped or vertical surfaces will require several thin coats. This is a thick liquid, but thick coats will sag or run. Expensive, but worth it

Company claims this is the only product of its kind, a coating for flat rubber roofs, that resists standing water. My roof is only 2 years old, but each non-factory joint that is in standing water a lot, has failed, or will soon leak. 1 gallon doesn't go very far, but I cleaned, then coated several areas yesterday, and today they look good. There is slight cracking showing through in 1 small area, so it will have to get a second coat. The online instructions are very complete.I have ordered a 5 gallon pail, and intend to do 1-2 gallons at a time. It is messy, difficult to clean up afterwards, but it doesn't smell too bad, in the open air. I used a brush on rough surfaces, and a squeejee on smooth areas.

received the product in great time. Product was easy to use and solved the leak problem right away. Great product easy use. Will need a drill with stirrer to mix the rubber and mixing agent for 15 to 20 min. Rained the night and now it been a month with more rain including a flood in the area and no leaks.

Works well. I recommend using this on a metal or rubber membrane roof before anything else. I have repaired roofs for 30 years and have used several products and this is by far one of the best. It has a hardener which makes it dry faster overnight then other products. Make sure you clean the area good before applying so it can adhere to the surface good. Also you will need a 2 to 5 gallon bucket to mix in and a paddle mixer and drill or a strong arm. I usually poor it slowly after its mixed and its levels out nicely on flat surfaces.

Seals tough to reach spots on flat roof tops and seals within 8 hours. Cure time is a bit longer, but it solved the problem.

Great this is a reel EPDM rubber with two component that make a real rubber. Some products are a simple component and they not as thought as this one.It make solid membrane and waterproof well.
