Very promising product... but not without issues.
I purchased this for what would turn out to be a problematic trip across country in a U-haul. The truck problems not withstanding, the issues of getting a clear connection between this device and the vehicle's stereo brought me back to memories of the use of rabbit ears on the T.V. back in the 70's. Ultimately I had to use a piece of wire strung from the antenna outside, and then wrapped around this device in order to get some semblance of a connection over the FM transmitter portion. This seemed to work fine for me while streaming audio, however, the quality of the voice during calls was being reported back to me as being terrible. Now I should note that I tried this device out while parked in my Tahoe before the trip, and had none of these issues. Most importantly, I was told that the voice quality was pretty good. But as I already have a hardwired Bluetooth system in my truck, this little device is completely unnecessary. So, my intentions were to give this to a family member. Turns out, some of these concerns that I previously mentioned, reappeared on their vehicle. This is a frustrating little device, with so much promise. For me, it did not work as advertised (at least not where I needed it most). As a result, I attempted to return it and ran straight into the Amazon return policy of 30 days. I was out by only a couple of days... But "No Exceptions".I expect that at some point, I will likely find use for this in much the same way one buys a tool and then throws it in the toolbox waiting for that day when you can use it.For those that might read this, I would not hesitate giving this a try for your specific needs. But if it does not work out, do not waste any time making that return, otherwise you will have another piece of electronic junk sitting around waiting for the day that it can become useful too.

So far so good
I got a chance to try it out today on my commute to work. In San Francisco I was able to find a clear channel that allowed me to place steaming music from my Android phone via bluetooth/FM. Using the phone call function was great. It brought up Android's version of SIRI and I was able to place a phone call to my grandmother. My grandmother (92 years young) had a little trouble hearing what I was saying but when my cousin's kid hopped on the phone call she could understand every word I was saying. One thing so far I don't see any difference between the android version and the iPhone version of this product.I'll check in with an update in a few weeks. But so far so good. I'm able to listen to the music I want and place phone calls in my car without having to do anything special

It... Kindve works? Lets start with ...
It... Kindve works?Lets start with the company's customer service - it's nonexistent. The company no longer supports this product via phone or email (tried both). Dont confuse this with the retailer - the packaged arrived, no problems... But the device itself is no longer supported by the company who distributed it.That being said; The device says it works with RDS but dont expect that to be with any internet radio player. Now in all fairness i havent tried the product/app they promote with this (grooveshark?) but dont expect pandora/slacker to work with RDS.Same goes for half the buttons - the heart (favorite), "+" and the beam (basically the whole buttom row). But hey - they are just buttons that dont work for "3rd party" apps... No big deal here.Functionality - the FM transmitter seems weaker than other FM transmitters on the market. I drive a 2010 Subaru Outback with stock radio and it tends to fade on dead air stations. So im currently using it via Bluetooth to aux out... Kindve an inconvenience. I also have a Flex(something) bluetooth fm transmitter and that blows through ALL stations - so if you were looking for a strong transmitter you might want to consider this.

Livio Tourista
Great little device for road trips away from city airwaves. Just as good for in-town use, although found myself scanning for 'clear' channels now and again. Otherwise, easy plug n play bluetooth setup with nice overall feature set. Just right for streaming/song collections and hands-free calls for vehicles without dashmounted all-in-one display consoles. Excellent audio quality when dialed-in! A simple stow away case would have been nice...otherwise toss it in the glove or under your seat to prevent would-be thieves from grabbing by it's handy gooseneck!

Excellent product
I love the grooveshark for android. It allows me to stream my Internet radio apps along with great hands free calling. I also like how when text messages are received you are notified over the vehicle's speakers. You can also use your phones navigation and play music at the same time, and when the navigation talks the music lowers, then it goes back to the volume you had it at previously. There is some static that you hear only in between songs if the volume is up but that can be expected out of any rf modulater and there is no static while the music is playing. Highly recommended!

awesome product
This is by far the best for its price. The sound, functions, and easy set up make this the best device for the job. I got it for my fiance who needed a bluetooth\fm device that was out of the way and loud enough when making phone calls. He has gone through more of these things than anyone I know and says this is by far the best. Now I need one!

Good-Nice-Cheap
Very good product, excellent quality, I have tried a lot of FM transmitters and this one is the best by far. Regarding the Grooveshark application its acceptable if you like internet radio services, however all the features regarding the Bluetooth connection, the call interaction and the capability to change tracks directly in the device without touching the handset are more than enough . Bottom Line: I do recommend this product.
