I would give it 0 Stars if possible. I installed this product with the assistance of a Master Electrician. After encasing the wire in a light cement underlay - the heating never got above 33 degrees Farenheit. The thermostat as mentioned in the review for the larger package does not fit in any normal 4-sq box. There is no number for customer service and I received limited to no support through email because I ordered the product from Amazon. Can't exactly return the product or I would. I am going to try and salvage the installation with some commercial grade cable but it still means ripping out the cement.I will update this review if the product miraculously start working.**UPDATE** - Amazon to the rescue again. Despite the issues with the product, the fact the wire was already in the cement, and the MFG was unwilling to discuss any defects - Amazon customer service stepped in and refunded the item. You might go wrong with a product purchase but you'll never go wrong buying from Amazon.

no matter what heating system you go with....it's not nearly as easy as you would think to install. this is a great cheap option that has transformed our bathroom experience - warm feet in the middle of the night is so worth the cost. BUt - installation is time consuming and the thermostat is junk. good luck programming it - also only in Celsius. BUT...for the price...worth it.

Sure, you can purchase a mat with the wires already placed in it, but you can also save quite a bit of money choosing this product. It was simple to lay out your own wire under the tile. It works like a dream giving us toasty toes when we walk into the bathroom in the middle of the night. Good price, good product and received in a timely manner.

I have remodeled two bathrooms in which I installed heating in the floor. The first time I used ThermoSoft. I was totally satisfied with ThermoSoft. Recently I purchased Gudcraft because it was 1/2 the price. The product was very cheaply put together. After installation the heat came on, but the thermostat was impossible to program. I went to Gudcraft wed site for help, if that is what you call it? The number given was to a random service which had no clue of how the product worked or a number to reach Gudcraft or a technicial. They gave me a number to a local air condition dealer who had never heard of the product. After hours of trying to program I Googled for help but only found victims of the same problems. I ordered another thermostat online plus a sensor just praying these would work (I was intending to splice the new sensor to the Gudcraft). As it turned out the new thermostat did not need a "plug" to hook up to the sensor. I spliced the sensor provided by Gudcraft, which was already securely embedded in my floor, and attached it to the new thermostat. Thankfully this worked and the floor is now heating on schedule. This is, though, NO THANKS to Gudcraft. I will soon be doing a floor for a family member and have recommended spending a little extra money for a product and company they can depend on. I will NEVER purchase Gudcraft again or recommend it. Good luck!
