Very useful tool for any diy mechanic. Performs well
The quick probe will speed up your process of identifying bad/faulty injectors. Depending on how you adjust the sensitivity, it will allow you to measure the pulse rate of your individual injector and identify bad or clogged injectors as well. A must for your shop.

Does what it designed For
Works great wish I had this tool years ago. the only drawback was the probe tip was missing on arrival minus one star. but works regardless. Could be cheaper. Helps to check if your fuel injections are actually firing vs listening with a screwdriver.

Accuracy and ease of use
I am going to take a guess that this device uses a tuned (resonant frequency) Piezo Electric crystal to sense the unique sound (frequency) created by the actuation of the fuel injector(s). Perhaps the device senses the injector closure or opening . . . or both. If the crystal detects the injector(s) doing their job, the signal created is passed on to an amplifier that amplifies and conditions the signal to create a beep in a speaker and illuminates a lamp within the tool. I have used this tool on a couple of vehicles and as far as I can tell, it is dead on. All this is a guess on my part, but it is my conjecture and I am sticking to it! I like the tool! By the way, some engine knock sensors work similarly.

More to come....
I’ll have to rate this at a one star for now.My unit arrived today.First impressions, not good. The packaging seems quite flimsy for a unit that costs a hundred bucks. In fact the item itself seems rather cheap and flimsy.I was still eager to use it,and would have except the unit was in the “on” position. The battery was dead.Probably been that way since it was packaged. So I shall try to contact the manufacturer or whomever to see if at least they’ll send me a fresh battery. Not too much to ask I think.Hope the item actually works. That would be refreshing.
