My goal was simple - stop sweating every night on my memory foam mattress. After two months of sleeping on my new King mattress, I regretted not investing the extra couple hundred dollars on a gel memory foam mattress. I started researching affordable alternatives and I found this cover with decent reviews, although some reviews were mixed, I think it was due to misinformed expectations of this products.What it DOES:1- Regulates the temperature of my memory foam. I’ve used it for two night so far and I have NOT woken up sweating my butt off compared to the previous two months without this cover.2- Provides an extra layer of protection, same as any traditional mattress cover.What is DOES NOT do:1- Does not provide significant padding. So if what you want is a different feel to your bed regarding cushioning or firmness, this is not for you.Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend to other buyers searching for relief from a hot memory foam mattress.

The cooling affect is minimal at best. After 10 seconds, there is zero difference than laying directly on the mattress. It is an ok cover but if you are purchasing to help stay cool, you will be disappointed. It really does not have sufficient cooling material to have any lasting effects on feeling cooler.

So far so good! It doesn't quite cool down the entire bed to be chilly, but it seems to make a difference. For instance I'll still get hot when sleeping, but it keeps the rest of the bed cool so I can move to a new cool spot. Be sure to wash it before using since it's pretty smelly out of the box. Might take drying it in a dryer twice after washing.

I had high hopes for this. We have a memory foam mattress that is comfortable but sleeps hot. We tried this with a fitted sheet on top (and then just for grins and giggles we slept directly on it), no improvement temperature wise over our previous mattress protector. Unless the seller let's me know I didn't do something properly, I'm going to have to return it.

Love the small quilting compared to large quilting squares of standard mattress pads. I have bad hips and back which makes it difficult to lay in one place very long or stay in bed for full nights sleep. This pad seems to be far more comfortable and has extended my sleep period a little more. Does help some with cooling, but not as much as I had hope. Fits matters perfectly and is of great quality.

I was waking up hot at 5:00am every morning before I purchased this mattress protector. Thought I could get a couple more hours of sleep each night with it. That didn't happen. Thought if I put the cooling gels between me and the memory foam that I would get a cool night's sleep. I see no difference at all. Just a waste of money in my opinion.

This product did not work and if possible made the bed warmer! This is the worse product I have ever bought on Amazon! Acted like a barrier for any sweat or heat to pass to anywhere else. I have never complained about a product to this extent but I hope no one makes the same mistake I did by buying this product!!! F Rating

I am using this for my memory foam mattress as it gets very hot when I sleep. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I don’t wake up overheating in the middle of the night anymore from the heat retention in the memory foam. I would give 5 stars if it didn’t make my sheets slip off occasionally while sleeping. But overall I’m very pleased with this product for the price.

We have a thick foam mattress plus softer foam topper and even with its venting holes in foam topper, heat builds up when we are sleeping. We added this Aere Crystal Gel Mattress Protector with Cooling Fibers hoping to help alleviate the some of the problem. I felt the gel mattress pad did help somewhat with a cooling effect but only in the first couple of hours. My husband felt there was less of a difference and the claims for heat absorptions and dissipation for ultra-cool sleep were over rated. This king size mattress pad is also in the higher price range. However wife, wins this round and we will keep the mattress cover for two reason. First: wife who has hot flashes does get some relief from heat…every little bit helps. Second: the king size mattress pads have sides wide enough to fit a very deep pocketed mattress.

Looks good and feels like a good quality product. Provides much better cooling on my memory foam mattress than the standard mattress protector. However, I was expecting it to provide a much cooler sleep than it does. A little improvement is better than nothing!

Very happy with this. We got it because our Endy foam mattress sleeps hot. This cooled nicely. My wife no longer wakes up drenched in sweat. Others also recommended we get bambo sheets. Combined with this mattress cover we solved our too hot sleeping problem.

Magnífico producto. Si bien no enfría en lo absoluto, no se calienta como los demás que al contacto con el cuerpo, hacen muy difícil conciliar el sueño.Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Buen producto, en época de verano no note un gran cambio, tal vez por el calor, pero en invierno si se siente más frío.

Not a bad product. Haven’t noticed any different but my wife says that she notices a different.
