Winter snow cover and possible summer heat cover
January 8th 2021Initial thoughts:Ok, so, having this delivered today, there really isn't much to say outside of ease of putting on and design. I've seen some other people's reviews mentioning about a glossy side, I didn't really look that much into the reviews when I initially went to put the item into my Amazon cart, so, I didn't realize the idea of there being a glossy side. But, for ease of putting the cover on, I didn't time it, but, I think it took me probably no more then a minute or 2 to put on. Probably more like 2 or so, considering that today (January 8th 2021, same day that I got the product) was my 1st time pulling the cover out. I mean, it isn't really that hard (in my perspective) to figure out which side is the top and which side is the bottom. I mean, the bottom is curved outward, and there are 2 flaps on the opposite outer sides of the cover that are supposed to go into the driver's and front passenger's side doors, and then there are bungee type straps that go around the mirrors. There are also magnets in the cover, I'm guessing to stick it to the car itself without the worry about the cover flopping around in the wind. The idea of the flaps is so that you can have the cover later flat on the front of the car, and not have to worry that much about it being stolen. I mainly bought this item to bring the idea of having the work of scrapping the snow or frost off my car down a bit. Though, another benefit of the cover could be to keep the summer heat down a lot, especially during the middle of the day during the summer.2 days laterOk, So, I threw the cover and mirror covers on the day I got it on January 8th to see if it fit, which, while it is a tad bit bigger then desired, being able to fall into the front doors slightly, but, eh. I decided to leave both mirror and windshield cover on overnight since I figured both that I was going to be out the next morning to go to work Saturday, and probably since that where I live, it was going to be a bit cold, being down into the teens farenheit. Boy, did I make the right move to leave both mirror covers and and windshield cover on over night, because, there was frost on my car when I came out that morning. Saved myself several minutes scrapping frost off the car.1/13/2021Ok, so, I worked 4 straight days after I initially wrote my January 8th review, and next to all 4 days, there was frost due to it going down into what my phone mentioned about the feel of the teens farenheit, and, I do think that at this point that I could probably say that this is a fairly good product. Though, with it not being a full week, I am not 100% sure though. Now, I know some notice that the title includes "summer heat cover", I know that my review hasn't included sumer temperature sinarios yet. Unfortunately, I can't include REAL summer sinarios yet due to me living in the northern hemisphere, and it being January. So, it's below 45 farenheit for the most part about the time I write this.1/22/21Ok, so, it's 2 weeks later after I initially got the item and reviewed it, and, eh, it's ok. 2 or 3 times so far I've gone out to my car and have found the cover folded upwards, probably mostly due to high winds. I notice that the straps that are supposed to go under the mirrors don't go down reach the bottom of the cover, so, that might be part of the issue. Plus, last night (when I'm typing this), I noticed that some snow got under the cover.2/6/2021Ok, it's been over 28 days, in fact, it's super early on the 29th when I type this. I went out to grab the mail, and noticed that the cover folded upward again. So, I decided to flip the cover back over so the non glossy side faced up, and, I noticed that the magnets were stronger with the glossy side down verses it being up, making me wonder if the glossy side was meant to face down instead of up. Learning curve to these things.4/27/21So, it is going into the warmer months of the northern hemisphere now, and, I've since noticed some scratches on the car where the outer corner magnets are. I'm not positive if it's because of the people around where I live now of where I have since moved to thinking it's funny to scratch up my car around my fenders or if it's simply some fine pebbles getting caught up in the magnets or what, but, yeah. There have been some days where it has gotten warm out, and, I have gone out to my car and hopped in, and, it has been a bit warm inside, not hot hot, but warm. Of course, what is considered so may be debatable depending on the person. But, I imagine that it would have been a lot hotter without the cover. I was thinking about it the other night and now I understand why some people put a thing in their windshield on the inside of the car when they walk away from their car. Now, of course, the cover isn't foolproof, sometimes mother nature will flip it on you and decide to put frost on the inside of the windshield during the winter, I've had that happen to me a few times. For the cover folding upwards, that is partly due to the wind getting under the cover, and was sort of solved by putting what I'm pretty sure is broken up pieces of asphalt that are now semi small rocks on the bottom of the cover. Your liable for your own attempt at trying to use rocks as weights.11/30/21I was sitting in my car after I put my windshield cover on, and I noticed light coming through the cover and I got out and looked, and there's a tear in the cover above where the mechanism for the right wiper blade. So, I'll have to get another cover.

Just ok.
Came with no instructions on best way to use. Included were several plastic tubes that I don’t know what they are for. Additionally discovered side flaps should be placed inside door to keep cover from blowing off during high wind, especially overnight. Better if there were 2 sets of flaps, one to secure the cover via the doors, and another to cover the front side windows from frost (product innovation/upgrade/improvement idea, for free).

Effective windshield protection.
This cover for windshield and mirrors fit well on my 2004 Subaru forester. My neighbors all envied that my car was protected during frozen rain and snow event. This cover was easy to remove and have a clear windshield while others had to run their engines for ten minutes to get the ice and snow cleared.

The perfect fit.
We have used this item 3 or 4 times since purchasing it. It was easy to use from the start. It fits great, as if made for our Honda. Ours does not have magnets which I find were not needed. The loops go around the mirrors and the hooks attach to the wheels. The extra "ears" go inside to prevent anyone attempting to steal it. I appears to be made with tough material and should last a long while. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a good shield.
The size is large enough to cover the window plus some the only drawback is the mirror covers are really big for a car but would fit nicely on a truck.

Perfect!
I bought this first as a present, and then again for myself. Works perfectly. It goes on in minutes and comes off just as quickly.

Fit tight
So far it working well/ Its a tight fit for our 2013 GMC Accaida. Previous cover we had covered the window washer vents on the hood. This unit just fits the window which is a good deal.

Worked out well
After shopping around for a wind shield cover, I decided on this one. It worked out pretty well, but if it's really windy without a snow covering, it does gap at the top. Still it fits my 2020 XC Volvo like I wanted.
