When this sweater first arrived I was totally surprised. While I wouldn’t have purchased it if the description & photo hadn’t appealed to me, reality and expectations aren’t always the same. In this case reality far exceeded! This sweater is substantial but not bulky. It has a soft drapey feel due to its viscose/nylon fabrication. The sleeves are nicely finished so they can be “jugged up”, folded, or just left down. I like the oversized look and typically wear a L or XL, so I got an XL & it’s just right. I would never wear this sweater as a dress, but then I’m a 60’s girl so I’m long past those days. If I wasn’t, & felt the look was right for me, I would! I have several sweaters by another manufacturer (not FP) that look very similar to this one but are a cashmere blend, and even given the difference in fabric, I now have a difficult time justifying its almost $200 price tag when this sweater is available. The palette of colors is dizzying, so one could never run out of ideas. As far as washing, I would never put a sweater in the machine; only hand wash in cold water & either lay out or hang (depends on circumstances) to dry. This really is an exquisite sweater, & offered at such a bargain price, one can hardly go wrong in trying it out. Maybe you’ll be as surprised as I was!Update - I have received 2 more of these sweaters since the first one; apricot & black. They are every bit as beautiful as the first one. Apricot is really an ecru which is what I wanted, and black is, well it’s black. They measure & fit just right, & no issues with torn seams, loose threads, bad odors, or any other plagues. Granted I have yet to wash them, & I expect doing so will be the true test of their potential longevity. That said, at least I haven’t paid $200/each for them! Nevertheless I really love them and would like to enjoy wearing them for a good long while so I might just break down and use the dry cleaners. I’ll have to see how brave I’m feeling when the time comes.

I absolutely love the sweater! After receiving the first one I have purchased several more in different colors. The neckline is wonderful for those of us who don't like that tight turtleneck. Being oversized and tunic length means it covers my bottom and hips, with my legs showing from midday on down. This results in a long lean leg look!!! The sweater is seriously comfy yet looks so trendy and expensive. Don't hesitate to buy it!

I love the pattern of the design. The length and fit are great! I have a different sweater with slits and feel them missing here. The weight is great too. A little see through as you can see my tank under in the bright mirror lights. Overall a great sweater!Update! the pilling after one wear is insane on the white. I hand washed and hang dried, but the pilling is crazy so invest in one of those fabric de pilling gadgets. It’s still really nice and soft. Just not sure it’s worth the money for how much it’s falling apart.

I have this sweater in at least 5 colors now, it is absolutely beautiful! It is the perfect weight and length to wear with leggings all fall/winter long. This is a really great dupe for the Free People Ottoman tunic. Fits a little oversized, I ordered a size small.

I wish I had ordered one size smaller. It is nice weight, well made, comfortable, not itchie.

Great quality sweater, soft, warm, beautiful color but runs very very large - size DOWN two sizes. The neck just doesn't look right - it's huge. Sweater also hangs higher in the back on me - not a good look. Sad to say this is going back.

If you get this, 100% size down. I wish I had not listened to Amazon and gotten my usual medium. I was looking for an tunic-y look, but this is like an XXL and is noooot flattering. It is so soft, I'm tempted to keep it, but I don't know that I should keep clothes I would never want anybody to see me in.I got it on sale for $28, and now it's inexplicably $44. I'm going to keep watching and try again when it goes on sale - and try the XS (it's that big).

Despite some of the reviews, my sweater was great quality. Very soft. Runs a bit larger, would definitely size down.

This sweater is not as pictured (the model must be XXS wearing an XL), however the quality, itch-factor, and sizing are spot on. I'm typically a Size 18-20 or XXL and I ordered an L. I could have gone XL for a truly oversized look, but the L is just fine. For anyone who received a questionable product, it must be because it was fulfilled by a different vendor. This was absolutely top notch and 100% more comfortable than the true Ottoman sweaters, which I find too thick with no give and so itchy. Worth every penny and I'll be buying another.

I never write reviews, but I wanted to write one about this sweater. It is better then I thought it would be! After reading all the other reviews, but still seeing this posted every where I took a gamble and ordered it. It is absolutely beautiful! The quality is great, I am usually a medium but sized down to a small and it’s still perfectly oversized. For the reviews written prior to when this seller actually sold their products in Canada, they unfortunately bought the wrong product. Make sure the seller is Anrabess and you won’t be disappointed! I hope this helps, if you are on the fence like I was, buy it! You won’t be disappointed!
