This Is A Must Buy!!
I bought this mouse with some hesitation, considering all the budget priced "gaming mouse" products on Amazon. I finally settled on this mouse and it doesn't disappoint! It came well packaged with no damage to the box or product. It's simple plug and play although there is a driver that comes on a small cd to enable custom lighting and dpi settings. The driver install went smooth which I believe is because the CD has been updated for ease of use. Nothing is in Chinese and the install went smooth. I scanned the .exe file for any malicious software and nothing came back positive. The combaterwingGM.exe program lets you set custom dpi's, which color is used to indicate dpi, and the lighting effect for each color, along with other custom button assignments and macro recording for advanced users. Speaking of buttons, there are plenty and I have found a use for all of them. I am not a pro gamer but all the buttons can be assigned to just about anything.Getting into the actual mouse, it performs flawlessly. It has a nice weight and it glides effortlessly. The contour of the mouse is comfortable and the left and right click buttons are perfectly laid out under your fingers. There is no sloppyness in the buttons which I find in cheaper mice. The buttons and the heel have a nice plastic coated finish that I believe will last a while. The cord is a nice braided red/black with the usb end being a little thicker than usual. That might be an issue for people with not a lot of room on their i/o. No problem for me though. I have zero tracking problems and you can set insanely high dpi's far beyond what a normal user would need. All in all, this is an awesome mouse and well worth the price.

Just okay, more plastic than I thought
This mouse is just okay. Buying it, I thought I was going to get a decent Mad Catz RAT knock off, but it lacks a few really key features to stand out.First, it's almost all plastic except the bottom plate. This means it weighs significantly less than you would think. Everything you see is chromed plastic sans bottom plate. This threw me off as soon as I got my hands on it. I thought it'd be a metal, but nope. On top of that, the "inner workings" that look like function are purely aesthetic, such as the springs on the sides tying the thumb rest to the main chassis. It doesn't adjust at all and it's just plastic and for looks.Second, the software is on a mini CD. I don't even have a drive in my desktop, so just using it as plug and play. The default setup of the extra buttons isn't bad, but I wish I could download the software via a website or something. Of course, there is no Combaterwing site (since this is just some China factory knock off). The black plastics have a nice rubberized finish on them, very smooth. and the click of the two main buttons is decently satisfying. The wheel also has decent resistance. The on the-fly DPI switch button (above the mouse wheel) does its job fine, but that's a near ubiquitous feature on all mice these days anyways. So, like I said, decent. Maybe slightly overpriced for the 28 I paid, but I believe I'll get my use out of it.

One Star
Poor quality, poor tracking, but it was cheap

You get what you pay for.
I bought this because I hoped that it might be somewhat adjustable like the Mad Katz mouse that I accidentally left in a hotel. Admittedly, I did not expect a $25.00 mouse to be nearly as nice as a $150.00 one. This one has different colored lights and lots of programmable buttons, but I personally find it to be uncomfortable on my hand. Other people might not have the same experience. It is not a bad product for the price, but I intend to give it to one of my kids as soon as I can find a decent replacement. Here is a two week update: I have not gotten used to the mouse in my hand, but that is minor. What is happening now is that the mouse cursor keeps jumping randomly to the top of the screen, directly above wherever it is being pointed. I would not think that the mouse would be the reason for this, but it never happened before. I am less happy than before, and I am taking a star away

Good mouse, love the ability to switch scroll speeds ...
Good mouse, love the ability to switch scroll speeds on a dime. Didn't work well at first since the sensor seemed too close to a surface, so I added an adhesive bumper and washer to the bottom rear. Elevated the back by 2 pennies thick, and it works amazingly.

If it survives the year I think I'll end up buying it again when it dies
Absolutely wonderful product. Despite the unique appearance (Which I think is wonderful by the way) it actually "feels" right in your hand instead of feeling like your dragging a block around. The color of the LED light in it can be customized to just about any color you wish with a breathing, blinking, or just solid light. Personally I keep it set to use individual colors so the sensitivity was visible (It sounds confusing but the included software makes it easy.)Has a nice weight to it, if your switching from a wireless to wired mouse it's not too disruptive. Pretty sure most of it's plastic, but it's not really an issue. The button configuration software however is a bit confusing to use, it's easier to just assign it a "keypress" function (which causes the button in question to behave as if it's that button on your keyboard) and at first seems like an inconvenience but I kinda wish my old mouse had that functionality now.As far as durability goes, can't really say anything yet. I've only had it for a week and nothing's wrong yet, so I guess that's good. If the mouse makes it through the year without any problems I'll buy it again when it does break down eventually.

Great price, customizable with included software
This is an OK mouse. Great price, customizable with included software. A little small for my hands, but I am 6'-2"/275#.

No, really bad, cheap mouse.
Given the 5/5 disine of this product, the buttons are flimsy and have issues fully connecting it to my pc. The software it comes with is also very confusing in a different language. Would not recommend this mouse.
