We absolutely love this harness! I had one before for my dog, and it lasted for years, so I knew I wanted to buy another one. The quality is amazing — it’s strong, durable, and made with tough material that still feels comfortable for my dog. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to adjust for the perfect fit. I measured my 14 lb small, mutty-mutt and ordered a small, which is almost too large for him. It fits well enough and he cannot escape. I’m thrilled about it!! The only place the harness is terribly big is at the chest pad which sags downward terribly even if cinched as far as it will go. I could try an XS but this one fits well in most places, my dog has a lean chest and sort of long, unlike most other dogs. I swear George is a contortionist when spooked by other dogs. He twirls, legs come through the chest straps of every other harness we’ve tried and he runs away. (He’s a lover, not a fighter) NO escapes with The Tracker Harness, even with the sag. I think it just needs more adjustment ability in the chest area. I love the handles that don’t choke when used to pick up our pup. The seams and stitching are reinforced very well. The reflective stitching is nice for walks in the evening. Easy to put on as stated. Slip over the head, place one leg over the right chest belt and clip the side belts into their sturdy clasps. DONE! I think George will appreciate the padding that keeps the belts from rubbing sores on his belly and sides. Me too. It’s a keeper!

I've had martingale harnesses and collars before and I really don't like the way they work. I know K9 experts mostly agree they are very good and do not harm the dog like chokers do, but I don't like strangling my furry children. I had gotten a a few things, like leashes, before from Tuff Pupper and really liked them, so I gave this harness a try and have been very impressed! My youngest pup is almost a year old, and she is a rescue and has some fears of strangers. Whenever she see a new person in the wild she tries to run away as quickly as she can, and in doing so she pulls and wiggles her way out of "escape proof" harnesses and collars. Not an issue with this one! She was unable to free herself and after only a few times has stopped trying. The harness is comfortable enough for her to wear around the house and play freely, but still secure enough for outings. I am so happy with the outcome! I also like the top handle. Our pup is only around 40lbs, so it is very easy for me to pick her up if she gets too spooked while on a walk. The handle and harnes work great. She does not show any signs of discomfort at all! I pick her up by the handle and cradle her and she is good to continue the walk after a minute or two. What a difference this harnes has made for her and me! The harnes is also fully adjustable, which is perfect for me because my pup is still growing and is in-between sizes in every brand I have looked at. I live that I could make this harnes fit her like a glove! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Highly recommended!

Good quality, largely does the job…but not fully escape-proof because the leash loop is too far forward. I run the leash through the back loop to which helps…then, if you pull up when necessary, they can’t wiggle out.

This is a great harness. I have very small dogs, and the harness fits well and my dogs cannot get out of it. If I need to pick up my dog quickly, the handle is great and allows me to pick up my dog easily and quickly.

Final edit: Today is June 17, 2026, 29 days after receiving the harness, and the D-ring tab completely ripped off. Super-gluing it after the first tear (see below) didn't take, either. I started to return this because I ordered a large, but what I got looked like it wouldn't fit any dog larger than a Cocker Spaniel, and it was definitely too small for my dog... at first. I then saw the founder's video on how to adjust the straps, so I decided to try that before sending it back. The straps are a pain in the arse to adjust, but once they are adjusted to the proper fit, they aren't going anywhere and won't slip loose. That's both good and bad. If you have arthritis, forget it, this isn't for you unless you have a dexterous, patient friend willing to adjust the straps for you. So, it now fits my dog and she seems to like it. She loves to wear a harness and will bring it to me of her own initiative, tail wagging! This harness appears to be very well-made and tough, but is nicely padded for your dog's comfort. Edit: I received this harness on May 19, 2026. Today is June 11, 2026 and as of today, the strap that holds the D-ring on the top has ripped. The base of the strap is still stitched down, but the stitching in the middle of the strap is completely ripped off. My dog is about 60 pounds and is pretty strong. She's a Black Lab /German Shepherd/ Rottweiler mix with a strong prey drive. It ripped while she was on her 50-feet-long yard tether. I will superglue it down and hopefully, that will hold.

SIZES RUN DIFFERENT (too small generally) and SOME can adjust smaller, others only adjust larger. If not for the sizing and adjustment challenges, would have rated a 5. I ordered an XS last year for my dog who is smaller (10 lbs, 15" chest). The XS description says it is sized for 13-17". I adjusted the straps to the very smallest I could get them, and it was still a tad too large, but still worked well and fit better than others I had been trying so have kept it and it has worked very well. LOVE the "handle", she seems comfortable, and she is unable to get out of the harness. Recently my parents needed a new harness for their dog, slightly larger than mine (17 lbs., 19" chest). We tried my dog's vest (reminder XS) knowing it would be too small, but would give an idea as to if the S would be a good fit. We ordered the S, which describes it fits 17-22". Perfect. When we received the harness it wsa too small in the adjustment received. Went to adjust the straps to make it larger - not able to adjust the straps larger; but could adjust them smaller only. The adjustments straps were configured differently than mine that was an XS. Presuming it may have been a mistake on the noted size as it was more the size of my XS, we returned it and had another XS sent. NOPE ... it too was too small, could not be adjusted larger, just like before. Okay .... maybe there is a new manufacturer so sizing is different now (although per the measurements in the description we should have been fine, and the straps should have adjusted larger), we went one size up to a M. Yes, that size is described for 22-?", which is larger than our dog ... but he was in the size range for the S and that one was too small - and this one was at minimum 1" larger, so again ... should by that logic fit. Well, received the newly ordered M and NOPE it was HUGE. This one, however, did have the same adjustment straps as mine and was able to be adjusted smaller. We made it as small as possible, and still TOO BIG. So their 19" chest dog is "too large" for the S (which should fit 17-22") and "too small" for the M, which would be expected going by the description, but was hopeful would fit since the S ran sooo much smaller than its description size. Needless to say, my parents are now looking for a different harness. All in all: 1) BE WARY of the SIZE. You may have to get a larger or smaller one than you think and hopefully one will fit well enough to use. 2) IF you do find a size that fits your dog - you will love this harness. They cannot get out of it, the handle is great (both top and back), it has two clips (one on top and one at the chest) which both work well.

What a difference this has made!!! I love the security of these harnesses. My dogs are scared of noises and they want to try and bolt if they hear a loud noise when we are out walking. These are perfect! Plus, if they get too scared, I can just pick them up by the handle on the back. That allows me to be able to carry both dogs back home. I wouldn’t be able to carry them together any other way. Highly recommend!!

3 STARS AS ITS NOT ESCAPE PROOF!! I'm writing this review as advisory and after using this product for over a month. While the harness is sturdy and good quality, it looks very good and is worth the price as per the build and product quality goes, it still however, bdoesn't serve the purpose of being 'escape proof' as claimed. My pet easily wriggled out of it. I had his bought this of sole purpose, that as per the claim, my pet won't be able to get this off. Indie dogs are smart and very much adaptive. The learn and understand things faster as compared to other foreign show breeds. So, if you're an Indie dog pet parent and looking for escape proof harness then PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS.
