Fujitsu ScanSnap Carrying Case

Fits my Epson 580W scanner perfectly

Some reviews stated that the ScanSnap ix500 was a tight fit. Either the manufacturer changed the design, or we have different definitions of "tight." The scanner fits perfectly in the case. It is very easy to insert and remove. Inserting on an angle works for me. Plenty of room to keep both hands on it and place it in gently. There is a tiny bit of wiggle room on the sides. There's also 2 zipper pockets and 3 non-zipper pockets for accessories. Nicely constructed as well.Others are also complaining that there is not enough room for the accessories. But, the large zippered mesh pocket is plenty big enough for the power adapter and a long USB cable. When closed, those items will sit above the scanner, inside the bag, where there is plenty of vertical space. In fact, there's so much space in that pocket that 3 more power adapters and USB cables can easily fit without hindering the zipping process (read about zipping next). There's room in the back pocket for USB cables and such, too. When you slide the scanner to the front of the bag, there is about 1 inch of space available for items in the rear pocket.Okay, the lip around the zipper is awkward at first. It makes zipping tougher. The trick is to use your index and middle finger behind the zipper, pushing down a little as you zip forward. It's very easy after doing it this way once or twice. The zipper lip may come in handy during rain storms. It's for the protection of your scanner. They didn't design it this way to make you mad, or did they?You can put the adjustable strap on your shoulder or over your head, to reduce the fear of dropping half a grand worth of equipment. The bag handle is in a good positioned for a balanced feel, when not using the strap.The bag could use more padding. I added 1 inch foam to the bottom. This will be changed out for 1/2 inch foam, when acquired.Overall, it's well worth the money. Consider transporting small pets in this bag when not occupied by your scanner. Please add breathing holes when used for pet travel. Enjoy.

I wanted a case for my Scansnap since I do take it with me on occasion. I wanted a case that fit my scanner and will protect it, which this case does. I wasn't interested in spending a lot of time making this purchase, or hunting for a different case. I didn't put a lot of thought into buying it and other Amazon options seem similar as well as more expensive. It seems sturdy enough. However I can't say I love it because of a few things: I wish it was more padded, the case is is awkward to load, and zipper is difficult to get to.The case gives basic protection from scratches and such, but it isn't really padded so I don't thin this will protect it in case you drop it, and being a a soft case, there is no structure to offer protection from crushing.The scanner fits perfectly into the bottom of the case but the cords could use a better home. The case is a rectangle/box and that leaves some empty space in front of the scanner where it angles back. There is a large inside zippered pocket in the flap that is the natural place for your power and connection cords but I found I push them to around to get it to fill the empty space in the case when you fold it back, instead of just having it be where it should be. You have to fully unzip the flap it all the way back to get good access to put in the scanner and also to access the cord pocket. This makes it a bit awkward to access, but I am hoping that will change after I break it in. I think I would have liked an better/different placement of accessory pockets.The outer case zipper is really hard to get to because of the way the case is made an awkward 'lip' overlaps. I assume they did this so it looks finished by hiding the zipper or to protect the zipper, but you have to sort of dig under the flap to zip, or try and flip up the lip to get to it.. I don't want to blow it out of proportion, but I think having to think about getting to the zipper is something I didn't expect. You just shouldn't have to think about it. Again, maybe breaking it in will help.

This carrying case fits the Fujitsu ScanSnap 1500 perfectly. Some purchares noted that the fit was tight. The first couple of times using it, it is a bit hard to work with because the case material is new/stiff. After one or two uses, it slides right in very easily and is equally easy to take it out. It is compact, yet there is plenty of storage for cords and even an external hard drive if you wish to carry one. Zipper is covered, making it waterproof. Be patient with zipping as the strip covering the zipper is a bit stiff as well. I highly recommend this product.

Nice bag. Well made. There is a shoulder strap inside the bag on the left hand side. Removing the shoulder strap will give you more room inside the bag. Yes, the zipper is a little tough at first but I think that will improve as the bag material starts to relax. It arrived tightly backed for shipping. The material flaps over the zipper. This is probably done for looks, but that might be part of the reason the zipper is a little tough at first. Still overall a nice bag.

This case is just perfect for the ScanSnap iX500. I was easily able to fit in the scanner, paperwork and both ac and usb cords. Would have liked a little more padding, but it serves the purpose intended. The only thing I dislike is the zipper on the case; it is a little awkward to operate and seems to catch. Its getting easier as I get used to it. Recommend this case definitely to protect the ScanSnap ix500 when traveling (which I do all the time).

Love the quality of the bag. Very sturdy and I have an Epson 500 scanner and it fits perfectly.

Best scanner on the market by far. Absolutely would not consider any other product - have 7 of them for my office, everyone very satisfied with the machine as well as the software it runs on.

Ｓ１５００自体が、結構持ち運びしづらい上、箱も結構な大きさであったため、片付かないので、こちらの商品を購入しました。使うときだけ出して使うって使い方をしているので、こういうバッグがあると便利です。箱を捨てたら、部屋がすっきりしました。ショルダーベルトをたすきがけした感じが、結構いい感じで○です。
