I’m not sold yet, but I’m hopeful!
It’s not been, thus far, a miracle for me, but I’ll keep going with it! I’m prone to abscesses, gingivitis, and I’m genetically prone to teeth problems, no matter how much I brush or floss, so I’ve been hopeful that this could be my lottery ticket to healthier gums and fresher breath too. Maybe less $$$$ spent at the dentist, as well. It’s quite a small bottle for nearly $40, but if it helps me out in the long run, it’s worth it, but a replacement for brushing?? Right now.. I can’t see that. I still have been brushing normally and adding this on to my oral ‘routine’, but when I go to my dentist next time, I’ll inquire about this product, and it being used as a substitute for brushing, altogether. It leaves you feeling pretty, minty fresh, but it’s not the same as true toothpaste brushing, in my opinion. Maybe I’ll be told I’m wrong at my next visit. I’d like that. I travel a lot. It’s certainly less messy than taking along my toothpaste container. I do also have some receding gums in front, so I’m putting this product, basically, to the absolute, ultimate test with my mouth.Like I said, no miracles yet, and it seems very expensive for such a small bottle, but if it starts working some noticeable wonders on my mouth, I would not hesitate to rebuy to save on astronomical dental bills.I didn’t wish to wait any longer on my review, but so far things look the same. I don’t have any sores at the moment, and I just got over a bad infection with an abscess, only a few months back, but if things are looking good at my next check up… I’ll revisit this review. Right now I can just go by the taste and value, as I see it in the here and now. I haven’t seen results, but I must be fair and go middle of the road, at this point in time anyhow.I hope to be able to gush about this product in the near future.

Tastes better than OraMD.
I have used a product called OraMD for several years. It's very similar to this product, GumRx. I brush my teeth three, sometimes four times a day, and at least one of those times I use OraMD instead of toothpaste--but I've been using the GumRx for the last few days instead. In some respects, I prefer this over my usual brand. For one thing, it's sweeter than the OraMD oil. I have a sweet tooth, so I prefer the sweeter GumRx, but on the other hand, it tastes a bit more oily than the other brand. The two products have almost identical ingredients--peppermint, spearmint, and almond oils--but in possibly different proportions. The GumRx product also contains glycerin, a controversial ingredient that may be counterproductive in an oral health product. While the two products perform similarly, the OraMD product can be purchased in bundles that offer a much better value than GumRx (about $30 an ounce for OraMD versus nearly $40 an ounce for GumRx).Overall, I have to say that, while I like the taste of Maximum GumRx, I think the safer option and the better value is in the OraMD tooth oil. But this product is pretty solid and good quality, too, so if you're considering it and aren't concerned about the glycerin in it, just go for it, and enjoy that sweet, minty taste!I hope my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

Burned my mouth; contains glycerin
I definitely wanted to like this. I noticed it's made by a small company in Ocala, Florida, and I live near there. I've also been using a few drops of orange essential oil on my toothbrush (with toothpaste) for a couple years and it has completely healed my tender, sore, bleeding gums. I had high hopes for this product.Unfortunately, it burned my mouth and lips pretty badly. I was in intense pain for about 30 minutes and my lips were extremely dry. I followed the product directions, which are to shake the bottle and use a few drops directly on the toothbrush (no toothpaste) and avoid rinsing, eating, drinking after brushing. It just hurt way, way too much to be normal. Admittedly, I have very sensitive skin, so there's a possibility this works fine for normal folks.I know there's conflicting opinions about glycerin and whether or not it impairs tooth enamel. I've read the opinions of both sides, and it's awfully hard to tell which side is correct. It might be better to leave that ingredient out altogether, especially since the front of the bottle claims this is 100% essential oils.It does have a great scent, though...the spearmint is particularly noticeable.

This stuff is amazing! I have had a sore in my mouth from biting myself and this has helped so much!
I have had this ongoing issue in my mouth. I bit the inside of my cheek while a was eating quite a while back. It hasn’t really healed and I keep accidentally re-biting it. I had no idea what to do. I try to be really careful when I eat, but just when it starts healing, I bite it again.I got this with hopes it would help. I am amazed how quickly it has helped. It is pretty strong and you don’t need much of it. I just take a drop on my finger, then tap it on the inside of my mouth and let it absorb into the area. I will sometimes spit if I need to, but you don’t want to rinse. This has helped so much to heal that area in my mouth and gives me a lot of relief from the pain. It is pretty strong at first, but I have gotten used to using it. You only need a drop or two, so this bottle will last along time.It gives you really good breath smell too. So if you’re looking for a natural, effective breath freshener, this is a good product for that too.I am very happy I found this product and finally my mouth sore is healing and getting better.
