A memorable memoir that makes you feel like you know this fascinating author.
Provocative, funny, intelligent, and very well written. The author does an excellent job creating vivid images of salacious content that is engaging and filled with thoughtful prose. Her vulnerable and bold honesty enlightened me with an inside perspective of the Playboy and Hollywood scene with such great details that stayed with me long after I put the book down. I literally laughed out loud many times, had to re-read a few lines because they were so shocking, and were the topic of many discussions I later shared with friends. I loved it so much! I feel like everyone woman could benefit from reading this book. The authors foes not hold back and really lays her life out to be “an open book” taking risks by being so truthful without any shame. As much as I loved the content I think Carrie Stevens is such a good writer regardless of what the topic is. She’s witty, chooses great details, and moves the story along at a good pace in such a way that you feel like you are sitting chatting in her living room. This book is funny, sad, thought provoking, shocking and memorable! Enjoy!

Fun read
There are some great stories in this book and if you are a fan of Eric Carr, then this book offers some great closure, as Carrie was with Eric during his final days. For a first time author the book is written pretty well. She says the book was written in bars and airplanes and it reads like it, a new friend telling you about their life.

Great Book, Honest , Fun, and touching !
I really loved the "Rock and Roll Centerfold" book. I think many small town girls who grew up in the 80's dreamed about meeting rock stars , modeling , becoming famous and traveling the world like Carrie. . Carrie was a beautiful Playboy Playmate in June 97, I enjoyed hearing about her friendship Hugh Hefner and Howard Stern !! Who knew Howard was such a sweet heart lol. The story is raw and honest, funny and very emotionally at times . I wish I could have been hanging out at the rock shows with Carrie as a teenager , Van Halen was the greatest rock bands ever! I love the story about her crush on David Lee Roth. I was especially touched by the death of her boyfriend kiss drummer Eric Carr, . Its very true that grief becomes part of you when you lose someone so very close and your connection and love bonds way beyond death. I'm sure Eric is proud of you Carrie and will be watching over you until you meet again. Sadly life is not at all the fairy tale we hope for but I'm glad Carrie survived to share her story. I highly recommend the book to fans of Kiss ,80s rock music and girls who want to get into Hollywood.

Loved it!
This is my kind of memoir! It’s exciting, interesting, funny, and heartfelt in places. Carrie creates an excellent balance in her book between the personal and professional. I really loved it!

An Unexpected Love Story
They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words. In this case, the words written by Ms. Stevens are priceless. Both men and women who judged this book by the cover are in for a pleasant surprise. Carrie takes you on a trip down memory lane that is packed with passion, adventure and self discovery. You will feel as if you are on that journey with her through some of the best and worst times of her life as she seamlessly weaves the life lesson she learned into each compelling chapter. From the rebelliously ambitious young girl following her dreams, through the joys of love, heartbreak of loss and many outrageously wild and mischievous adventures along the way.....Carrie speaks her truth with humor, sincerity and authenticity. You not only get to hear, but also feel each raw emotion with her. I found myself tearing up and laughing along with her. I really enjoyed the introspective moments throughout the book. The questions we ask ourselves about who we are, why we did or did not do something and all the What If's, Why Not's and WTF's are we gonna do next?? She says them out loud and it feels like we are discovering those answers for ourselves right along with her.In this book, Carrie reveals far more of herself in words than she ever did on the pages of PlayBoy.I highly recommend Revelations of a Rock N Roll Centerfold to all, but especially to women who may have judged the book cover negatively.

Better than Expected
I really the book. Very entertaining and somewhat of a conundrum. On one hand, the author basically uses her beauty to get where she wants to go. But, when someone calls her beautiful she gets depressed, angry and thinks she’s just an object because she’s beautiful? This is well written and fun. Down to earth and I highly recommend this book.

Read this, you wont regret it!
I tore through this book in 2 days. It is a real page turner. What an interesting and unique life Carrie has led. There are some very insightful and poignant moments. She is also a straight shooter, and is quite honest about some mistakes she has made along the way. It even got a bit dusty in a few parts. It is a fun and thoughtful read with some great pictures. Carrie is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside.

Interesting read
Did not know what to expect. Wha an interesting life Carrie has led and thank you for sharing it with us. At times you are envious, intrigued, however, also saddened by the storyline and people associated with her life. I did not know Carrie Stevens before I read this book - what an interesting first 50 years of her life. More adventures to come!!

It's a sordid memoir of failed relationships.
I asked around online before I purchased this-'Is this a book about her relationship with Eric Carr, with valuable insight rather than a book of sex and tabloid stories?' Most amazingly many responded yes. What i got was little of the former and much of the latter. There are a couple of brief chapters on Carr. The rest is about dysfunctional relationships with John Elway, John Stamos, Enrique Iglesias, , Hugh Hefner, some guy named Steve, and not of much interest unfortunately. I struggled to finish it.Most remarakably the author seems to have attempted acting and modeling with little success in either field, rather jumping from bed to bed while trying to cope with Eric's memory.I was left disappointed.
