I love using this salt for every use of salt.

Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt. It is THE BEST for chefs who use recipes. I know lots of folks can just dump stuff together and work by taste - and I can do that too once I know the base of a recipe. But when I'm following a recipe I want to go conservative on the salt. That is where Diamond Crystal comes in. The crystals are uniformly sized and are the least salty salt by measure that I know of. Meaning if I have a recipe that calls for 1/2 teaspoon of salt, I know that if I use Diamond Crystal that I won't be over salting it and I can always add more later. If I use Morton or some other brand, I'm almost always oversalting the dish with the same measurement. It does cost a bit more, but given that food costs are so high I really prefer to spend a little more on salt knowing that there is no way I'll ruin a dish by oversalting it. And really. of all the ingredients, spending a bit more on Kosher salt isn't going to break the bank compared to spending more on other ingredients. The other thing I love about Diamond Crystal is if I am making a recipe for myself - writing something down that I know I will want to recreate later - If I use Diamond Crystal when I make that recipe I know I'll be able to recreate the salt levels over and over again. My local supermarket has been out of Diamond Crystal for almost 5 weeks now and I ended up buying a box of Morton Kosher Salt and regretted it because I ruined a few dishes with oversalting. Great quality and taste - not overly salty and a lovely fine grained size. Has always been consistent for me even in the bulk size. Doesn’t clump or stick together in the paper box even once opened and easy to pour using the built in paper spout. I love that it’s really sustainable since the paper box can be recycled.

This salt is awesome for cooking and also HIGHLY recommended by renowned chef Samin Nosrat from Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat cookbook that I purchased on Amazon. Easy salt to work with and isn't too salty. What I mean by this is that this kosher salt let s the flavor of the food stand out, unlike Morton's that I find to be too salty. I bought 3 pack that should last me awhile as I went through 1 box rather quickly because I cook daily. Can't beat the price! If you are concerned about your health and the best salt for best health…this is your #1 pick. Did a lot of research on salt and was flabbergasted by the amount of heavy metals and plastics in other salts that were considered "healthy". This Diamond salt is not only one of the best health-wise, but delicious. I did a side-by-side taste test with Celtic, iodized, and Himalayan. I was shocked at the taste difference. Salt is salt right? Nope. Diamond salt and sea salt taste almost identical. The others were metallic and nasty compared to Diamond. Diamond is very light and fluffy. We will continue buying this one forever.

Kosher salt is the best!

Use this salt all the time - it's great since the sodium content is lower than regular table salt. This Diamond Crystal has only 280mg per 1/4 teaspoon vs regular salt (Morton's) has 590mg per 1/4 teaspoon, so if you are on a low sodium diet this is great, with the only caveat being it has no iodine.

This salt is excellent , good taste , good size, good quality. T like how it`s got no additives, no GMO and it`s kosher and each pack is in a cardboard box makes it good value for the price.

Absurd teuer, aber so ist es halt mit Kosher Salt in Europa. Es ist ratsam, die Menge, die man nicht benötigt, luftdicht zu verpacken, oder zu verschenken.

I learned about using Diamond Crystal salt as my go-to for kosher salt many many years ago and never chose any other kind. Subsequently I took a sourdough workshop 7 years ago and the instructor, who taught at community college, recommended using it as well. It's pricier than other kosher salts but one can't substitute quality just for price
