Rough Rider Black and Blue Elephant Toe RR2113

If Beauty wanted to buy a knife for the Beast this would be it. I have about 50 Rough Rider and Frost knives and this is one of the most attractive and well put together. The detail to the workmanship is top of the line. Even the back Springs are highly polished inside the knife which is kind of rare. The walk and talk is excellent, main blade is perfectly centered but the smaller blade is close to the liner which is good because when you try to open it you end up pushing it closer to the main blade and it would scratch the main blade which it doesn't. What they mean by black and blue is that there is a black spacer between the blue bone handle and the liner and where the blue saw cut bone meets the booster there is a thin piece of black spacer. This is the only elephant toe knife that has wharncliffe blades which makes sense because this knife is made for cutting rope and that's the best type of blade for it. The liners are nicely polished inside. The back Springs have just the right amount of tension and there is no wobble in the blade when it's closed or when it's opened and the lock-up is very solid. I told two knife collectors on YouTube about this knife and they both went and bought one. Main blade from bolster 2 7/8'' x 1''. Small blade 2 1/8'' x 3/4''. Full open tip to tip 9''. Closed 4 1/4'' x 1'' or 1 1/2'' including blade. Very sharp feels good in hand. A bit heavy. A good collectible.

last week i found a rough rider baby sunfish at the flea market in the box, here it is and i couldn't be a happier camper its a sweet little thing and if the blue bone is anything at all like this orange bone i will be able to go to my glory with one in each pocket. i am so happy i bought this little knife its perfect and from what i understand about this design, its a few and far between kind of thing. i got it today - the 19th about an hour before i left for work so i took it to work and used it, what better way to take if for a drive? its a bit heavy in the front pocket of my work pants but that doesn't really matter because i like it a lot and it probably won't be going to work with me anymore. if you get the chance to buy one of these on here or anywhere else do it its a really nice knife it all lines up and it opens almost to easy

I like the blades, but the primary blade totally makes using the secondary smaller blade awkward. I like the looks and build of the knife and was fully aware of the drawbacks beforehand. I just like the size and the primary blade and i can accept and use the secondary blade.

Wow, what a nice knife for the money. It’s a great pocket knife for edc along with your tactical knife. It’s solid and looks great. I love the manly size. I will be adding more of these to my collection.
