Great Beginner Friendly Smoker
I have had this right at a month now and have smoked on it four times (once a week). I have smoked bratwurst three times, chicken twice, and a Mac & Cheese once. Everytime my 14 yr old son would say it’s the best food he’s ever eaten… he eats anything and everything at 14 but he doesn’t normally compliment it so much so that’s saying something. I haven’t dug into the ribs or brisket yet, but will in the future. With the uses I have now I highly recommend this product, especially if you can get it under MSRP. The size is just right at 30” as I can smoke 16 large bratwurst and 8 chicken thighs at the same time. Could probably fit more, but I like to give the food room. It’s light enough I carry it by myself to and from the back years to use. The chicken only needed 90 minutes to hit 165 degree and the bratwurst only needed 50-60 minutes of burn time to hit 160 degree. I have been using hickory wood chips from Home Depot and they have been great. The smoker itself seems to be solid and of good quality. The material is metal and my magnetic Bluetooth thermometer sticks to it no problem. I set it at max 275 degree and the burn times have been great so far, but again I haven’t smoked a rib or brisket yet so I am sure they will take a lot longer. FYI this is my first smoker and second outside cooker period and it’s about as user friendly as possible if you take 5 minutes and read the instructions and the two pages of warnings lol. Oh it’s worth mentioning mine came with a small/medium dent in the corner. The packaging had no damage so it’s almost like they shipped a damaged one on purpose. I called and customer service gave me some options and I am happy with the outcome. 10/10 recommend!

Working great. Very few problems
Got mine just in time for meat to get really expensive. But I'm making do with chicken and pork and rarely beef. Love it. I use it all the time. I was tired of burning everything in my charcoal grill. This is great for my diet. Basically I smoke a week's worth of lean meat and work it into my diet. Had my first smoked black-eyed peas and will be making them again. I also smoke unseasoned lean chicken meat for my dogs. Cheaper than dog snacks. I've lost a ton of weight and can't wait to do a ham or turkey. I've done two turkey breasts but am curious about smoked legs and wings. I don't like the odd way the drip pan has to be wedged in at the back. It feels almost like it's a part for a different unit. The overall design is good but I had a problem with the leg stabilizers. There are supposed to be two long and two short, but I got three long and one short. I had to work in the extra long one at an angle. I tried contacting for the part but found the number and website a bit frustrating. That strained, lopsided leg is the only thing that worries me about the unit.

Makes good food, but it's not perfect.
Not too bad. Good temperature control but a small complaint, the heating element just doesn't really get hot enough for a deep smoke infusion. But even with a weak element, it technically does still infuse some smoke flavor. I'd almost say it's best to consider this a small oven with a smoke infusion rather than a full-on proper smoker. That said, I've found that with the cold smoke attachment rippin full time while you smoke, you can usually get great flavor. I've cooked a lot of good food in this, even did a brisket to great effect running it for about 16 hours (even though there wasn't a true bark, it was juicy and tender throughout). I think the thermometer on this isn't as good as it should be, so supplement with a food thermometer for better results.

Works good, easy to put together. I did with only one working hand.
Got it put together, the legs and fired it up with chips only at first. Worked great. The next day I cooked a rack of ribs. Temp varies a few degrees but that happens with all smokers. After a few times of use I cooked chicken legs, temp max at 275 and cooked 3 hours internal leg temp was only at 142. Temperature of smoker varied down to 264.

I spoke too soon…
Update: After using this smoker only twice I went to go use it again just now and the controls were fried. When I unscrewed the control panel from the smoker I noticed the fabric wrapping the wires was damp, so I opened it up to let it dry out, hoping that would help. Upon opening this cheaply made control panel I found all of the screws were rusted already and everything was smoky and greasy. The internal buttons were covered in the same smoky meat grease that was on the inside of the smoker and were not functioning. There is a hole from the top of the smoker to the control panel to let the power cable through, but it looks like smoke and steam from the smoker was getting into the panel and causing buildup and condensation. The smoker was stored under a covered porch with a cover, so it was not exposed to rain. This is really disappointing. We planned to use this smoker for Easter and now we have to change our whole menu plans because we can’t even turn it on. :( Can’t believe this was made with such poor quality and design. Original review: I’m super impressed with this smoker and would definitely suggest it to anyone trying to get into smoking. We started out making some chickens and steaks, which turned out very moist and delicious, so I then tried a whole brisket. It did great! The info about the smoker doesn’t say anything about brisket, but I tried it anyway and was not disappointed. It smoked it evenly and made a really nice bark. The automatic temp control and timer made it very easy to do while I was working from home. I put the brisket in in the morning and it was done by evening and all I had to do was top off the wood chips every once in a while and mop the meat with a sop. With smoked brisket being $30/lb at bbq joints this smoker has paid for itself already! I’m going to try smoking some homemade sausages in it soon. If you’re looking for an all purpose, economical smoker that will fit in even the smallest backyards, this is it!

Looks nice, but the rear metal was bent when I opened the package
It came quickly, the exterior of the box isnt damaged, but the back of the smoker is damaged, the metal is bend so it was hard to bend back into place and get the screw holes to line up. The bottom is bent too much so the braces to the legs will not go on. Turning it on in a couple hours to test out, hopefully it works. The water pan turned green in the corners within 3 hours of having it on, without food in it. No idea why. Never seen it before. In tried scrubbing it but it's the metal that has changed colors.

My first smoker with the great success
My very first smoker and it is great. It is easy to operate and control. The first batch of sausages and chicken wings turned delicious. The assembly was super quick and easy. I followed the seasoning instructions and found no fumes or smells. It's relatively light for two people to carry around. I am VERY SATISFIED with this purchase. I also ordered a book of receipts for this smoker and look forward to experiment.

Great for price
There is a bit of a learning curve, otherwise I have made some great stuff and love how easy it is to use. Tip: buy another thermometer that can check the temp at the height of you rack to be sure it's where you want it to be.
